So much for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Boston, you’re up.
The Houston Rockets extended their winning streak to 22 games on Sunday, knocking off the Lakers 104-92.
The luckiest winning streak in the NBA continued after Los Angeles were without Pau Gasol, who sprained his ankle on Friday against New Orleans.
But I’ll give the Rockets some credit – - they are the definition of a team.
Tracy McGrady was scoreless at the half, yet the Rockets were still up 15.
They are unselfish, scrappy, but still not a serious playoff threat.
Sorry.
Boston, it’s up to you to end this madness and stop the winning streak.
