Allen Iverson Is The Same Ol’ A.I.

Are we looking at the last of Allen Iverson in the NBA?
The veteran point guard is not happy with his role off the Detroit Pistons bench and has said that he would rather retire than be a full-time reserve.
“I’d rather retire before I do this again,” Iverson said. “I can’t be effective playing this way. I’m not used to it. It’s tough for me both mentally and physically. If I’m able to go out there, I should be able to get it done and I can’t right now. It’s my fault. I have to be able to overcome the adversity and do what I have to do. I just have to find a way to get it done. Not being 100 percent makes it harder and you can see that I’m not 100 percent.”
Way to be a team player, A.I.
Of course this is all talk because Iverson will be a free agent at the end of the season, so he knows his days as the 6th man off the Pistons bench are almost over.
Iverson will never win a championship in the NBA because even at the age of 33, he’s not willing to make the sacrifices it takes to win as a team.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out of the D.

You were the man and still is, people only realize what they lost when it is too late. They will realize what they have lost in due time……. 100% Fearless on the court, 200% Determination, Heart and Self-sacrifice of your body on a daily basis and not to mention the Toughness of a warrior. They always criticize but never appreciate, well I appreciate your game. I love to see you play, hustle, fight and give it your all on the court, I look up to as Role Model.

The only thing i can say about that is even though hes not 100% he should still give a100% he doesnt wont to leave the game on some coulda,woulda,type mess he has skills plus hes fine as all get out but there are younger and faster men coming into the game just be careful what u wish for

Any real basketball fan would tell you the pistons ciach made a big mistake for not utilizing AI to the best of his ability. He is one of the greatest to ever play the game.

ai is 6 ft tall lexi……he needs to be somewhere where he is a starter and its not detroit……he just didnt gel with pistons and i like the pistons i also like ai but he needs to find a team needing a point guard to start….i played sports i always started i cant imagine coming off the bench and playing to my potential and im sure thats alot of ai problem
