Barack Obama Endorsed by Greg Oden

Who needs the endorsement of Earvin “Magic” Johnson when Greg Oden is backing you up.
In Oden’s blog, the injured Portland Trailblazers big man publicly endorsed Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.
He is a very nice man and I am a big fan. I got the chance to go to his website (www.barackobama.com) and read up on some of his beliefs and there are things he is doing that I really support like his plan with education, civil rights, and health care. That’s why Senator Obama is getting my vote.
Obama personally called Oden on Tuesday and the two spoke for a couple of minutes.
What I got from talking to him is that he is a real sports fan and he knew about the Blazers. He said that when I come back Brandon, LaMarcus and I will be a force next year.
Was it a slow day on the campaign trail?
Obama had time to run down the NBA rosters and call players in support of an endorsement?
You think Hillary Clinton was calling up Kevin Durant and discussing why Luke Ridnour should start over Earl Watson at the point guard spot?
I’ll be watching Tennessee-Vandy instead of the Democratic debate tonight – wake me up when the election is over.
