Barry Bonds Is Still Unemployed

If you’re looking for a disgruntled 43-year-old outfielder with bad knees and even a badder attitude, agent Jeff Borris has just the person for you.
Barry Bonds is still unemployed as the Major League Baseball trade deadline is approaching at the end of the month, naturally stirring up the rumors that one of the 30 MLB teams will pursue the home run king.
The Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets were two teams mentioned but both organizations denied it.
According to Borris, Bonds could be ready for action in just 10 days.
Too bad NOBODY is interested though:
“I am not talking to any club about Barry Bonds,” Borris said, “because they all made it very clear to me they are not interested in him. Every club.
“I can’t believe he doesn’t have a job. No one has offered even the minimum salary. He made the All-Star team last year, and there’s no reason to believe he wouldn’t have a repeat performance in 2008, except for the conspiracy against him.”
In 126 games last season, Bonds hit .276 with 28 home runs and 66RBIs with a .480 OBP.
Forget about the legal trouble and steroid allegations for a second – you’re telling me there is not a single team that couldn’t use an extra left-handed bat in the lineup?
Smells like collusion to me.

People just love to hate this guy-especially white people. They just don’t like him. He doesn’t take crap and is parading around with one of “their” women. I actually think he is very intelligent. He isn’t a “dumb jock”. They can’t push him around, plus he’s talented. Totally off the topic,IMO he is one of the sexiest MF out there. He and that next arrogant MF Terrell Owens. YUMMY…..
let’s be a realist he would be a good DH at this point of his career. Bat speed is still there, and the man is one of the most patient players at the plate working the count. He did knowingly do what everyone says as well as a lot of other players in and out of the league. He is the only one who did break the all time HR record among other great accomplishments. He is worth the risk as a DH for a contending team. If I was him, I would go play in Japan if nobody wanted me.
THIS BARRY BOND MESS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND. IF HE USE STERIODS THEN WHERE IS THE PROOF. THAT DO NOT HAVE ANY BECAUSE IF THEY DID THEY WOULD BE SHOWING IT ALL OVER THE PLACE. IF HE WAS A WHITE MAN THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER LONG AGO. WHY NOT GIVE HIM THE CREDIT HE IS DUE. BARRY I SUPPORT YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. GO ON WITH YOUR BAD SELF
All you HomeRun Haters should just face the fact, A run is a run. If Barry Bonds is capable of playing Baseball and hit Homeruns is just a matter of a run is a run! A run that could help your team win or lose! The steroid issue is nothing but a fad it will fade with the new “Outlaw” ruling. There will always be contraversy over money, scandal, and POWER! I say let’s PLAY BALL!!! Untill your bones tell you it’s over.
Hang in there Mr. Bonds……….Keep your faith and everything will be alright
I don’t remember hearing near as much racial crap when Willie Mays and Hank Aaron were making runs at Babe Ruth’s record. Maybe much of the crap we hear comes from the Internet and blogsites that didn’t exist when Willie and Hank were making their marks in baseball history. Willie and Hank were deeply respected as men. Barry Bonds played juiced and then lied to a Federal Grand Jury. He lives in state of denial and fends off his detractors with arrogance. Barry Bonds gets kudos from Black apologists because Blacks continue to accept lower standards for Blacks. People listen to leaders like Bill Cosby… he’s one of my heroes.
For once someone tell me, being juiced helps you hit fastballs. Does it also help you hit curveballs. Perhaps it improves your abilitiy to judge or see the rotation on the ball, all the while giving all the thoughts of the pitcher before he lets go of the ball. Possibly getting HDTV reception to boot!
Being juiced helps you hit fastballs.
IM REALLY BARRY BONDS MR GERALD ROMAIN JR.
