Brand and Maggette Spurn Clippers

That’s the sound of the 72 Los Angeles Clipper fans jumping off the bandwagon and preparing for a 34-48 season.
Elton Brand, after assuring Clippers management and fans that he would sign with Los Angeles, agreed to a 5-year, $80 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Never, ever, ever, ever trust an athlete’s word.
You can forget all that talk about the Clippers being a threat in the Western Conference.
Oh, and if you thought they could resign Corey Maggette, he’s headed to Golden State.
General manager Donald Sterling strikes again.
Baron, back out of your verbal agreement and leave while you can.

Wow that’s hurt clippers losing Brand and Maggette ,Elton going to
Philly came out of nowhere, but that’s a big chance their taking
after Brand sat out all of last season,Maggette should only play with
an contender he will fit in great with Boston……

I thought it was a hell of a move for the sixers everyone talks about the west this in the west that but its the east that makes all the moves to really get better every year so I take my hat off to the sixers nice move I am out town %@@@…
The Clippers may try to sign free agents Josh Smith (Atlanta) and Emeka Okafor (Charlotte) in order to replace what they lost. Regardless, the Clippers will not make the playoffs next year.

Josh Smith is a beast, and Okafor can be a great player if he stay healthy.
