Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson has never been afraid of the spotlight.

So it’s not a surprise that “Ocho Cinco” has decided to take the flair and charisma he displays on the football field to the acting world, making his acting debut in, “The Rookie.”

A series of web-episodes that are based on the popular FOX drama “24,” Johnson plays the part of a FBI surveillance expert code-named “Agent Ocho.”

“It was my first time acting … it’s fun,” said Johnson who chatted with Playa Hater this afternoon.

Chad appears in episodes three and four, which you can check out at Degree Rookie.

And if the episodes aren’t enough to get your daily Chad Johnson fix during the NFL offseason, you could have the Chad Johnson reality show in the near future.

“The Chad Johnson reality show is in the making,” explained Johnson. “I just finished filming two days ago in Miami.”

The concept of the show revolves around Chad and his three brothers and he’s in the process of shopping it around to networks.

“I need you to tell your people at BET to pick it up,” said Johnson.

While his second job seems to be his secure, his day job is another story.

When asked where Johnson would be playing in September, he responded “I have no idea. I am going to leave that one in God’s hands.”

(Let’s just hope God is not a New England Patriots fan. That would just be cruel.)

This morning on ESPN’s “First Take,” Johnson hinted that he could be playing in the Arena League.

“100 a night … 50 yards, that’s nothing,” Johnson proclaimed on how many touchdowns he could average a night.
