Derrick Rose Is Anti-Gangs … Riiiight

You can take the boy out of the hood but you can’t take the hood out of Derrick Rose.
The Chicago Bulls point guard apologized for throwing up a gang sign in a picture that’s circulating the web.
“Recently, a photo has been circulating on the Internet which appears to depict me flashing a gang sign,” Rose said in the statement. “This photo of me was taken at a party I attended in Memphis while I was in school there, and was meant as a joke … a bad one, I now admit. I want to emphatically state, now and forever, that Derrick Rose is anti-gang, anti-drug, and anti-violence. I am not, nor have I ever been, affiliated with any gang and I can’t speak loudly enough against gang violence, and the things that gangs represent.”
Don’t forget anti-SAT (allegedly).
The NCAA is investigating a Memphis player that played in only one season in 2007-08 who had a person take the SAT for them.
And only one person fits that description … Rose.
It would not be funny if someone called him out on the situation. People get shot over doing gang signs.

im from memphis, and the only way you would understand is if you visited a memphis party or club. people throw stuff up alllll the time. its just what they do. i believe him, because i have friends who do that.

Does the nation have anything else to publicuize and talk about besides this?
