Gay Odd Man Out in 100 Meters

That was Tyson Gay’s reaction after finishing fourth in the semifinals of the 100 meters qualifiers.
Disappointing was the word I was thinking of to describe Gay’s performance in Beijing.
He didn’t look 100 percent in the early heats after suffering a hamstring injury during the U.S. Track and Field Trials in July.
But with all the build up between a possible showdown between himself and Jamaica’s Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell, Gay didn’t live up to his end of the bargain.
