And now, coming off the bench for your Memphis Grizzlies, Allen Iverson!

Errr?

The veteran point guard is headed to the Grizzlies and like everyone else, announced it over Twitter:

“God Chose Memphis as the place that I will continue my career.”

That’s a cruel trick God is playing if that’s the case.

Iverson is hardly a lock to start even on the Grizzlies with young guards O.J. Mayo and Mike Conley.

I still think going to Memphis was the wrong choice and he should have went with his old coach Larry Brown and Charlotte.

There aren’t enough basketballs to go around in Memphis for Mayo, Iverson, Rudy Gay and Zach Randolph.

Let’s see how this latest chapter in Iverson’s career ends.

one thing that we all know now is that he is not playing for the money and he has been lying all these years talking about he wanted to win a championship. hedon’t have snowballs chance in hell to win in memphis. we all know that he’s not too smart to sign with memphis. Now that we know that he’s not playing for the money here’s why and who he should have signed with. the cav’s was the best fit for him, with king and the diesel he would have had it so easy and a chance to compete for the starting job, mo proved to us that he wasn’t ready for prime time. he could have signed for that 3.5 million if he would have called king or shaq and talked to them personally and told them that he wanted to win a champiuonship and he would do whatever he could to help them reach the promise land.he didn’t need to communicate with no agent or stupid ass danny ferry. but he pulled a domonique when he signed with the spurs and boston for that small change and he could have had at least one championship had he called jordan. a.i. is just as stupid as nique and itz a shame thatafter all the years in the league he is still not smart enough to look at the team that he could best fit in with and it doesn’t require that you have an agent. i’m a basketball fan and if i could find where u fit best why couldn’t u. your legacy wil be 4ever tarnished and u r 2 blame.
