Karl Malone Had a Child With a 13-Year-Old

According to a column in The Buffalo News, Karl Malone had an illegitimate kid with a woman by the name of Gloria Bell.
At the time, Malone was a sophomore at Louisiana Tech (Let’s say he was 19) and Bell was only 13.
Even in the backwoods of Summerfield, La., that is statutory rape.
Since Bell’s family decided not to file charges, Malone was off the hook, but even R. Kelly thinks 13 is way too young.
Malone’s son, Demetrius Bell, was selected in the seventh-round of the NFL Draft last weekend by the Buffalo Bills.
Bell didn’t even know Malone was his father until after graduating from high school. When they finally met, Malone told the 18-year-old Bell it was too late to be his father, and that Bell would have to “earn his money on his own.”
