LeBron Calls Cleveland Browns Receiver “Childish”

There’s an athlete beef brewing in the city of Cleveland.
LeBron James called Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards “childish” for allegedly punching Edwards Givens, a friend of James’, outside of a club early Monday morning.
“I’ve never crossed paths with Braylon before, but it seems like there’s a little jealousy going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why,” James said on Monday. “I’ve never said anything to Braylon at all. But for him to do that is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds. Seriously. It’s like hitting one of my kids. It doesn’t make sense.”
I know how to handle myself as a professional athlete and I take care of my friends and my family. It is unfortunate that some guys don’t understand that. You are a role model to kids and you should carry yourself that way on and off the field. And I carry that. I’m not going to do anything to jeopardize myself or my family. I’m one of the guys that look at being a professional athlete at more than just being out on the court.
A blast from LeBron was the only thing Edwards has caught this week, as the wide out was shutout in yesterday’s 23-20 overtime loss to Cincinnati.
Edwards wasn’t arrested and there are no charges pending against him, so it makes you wonder what actually happened last night.
Regardless, when the King is calling you out, you automatically know it’s a battle you aren’t going to win.

man how did this start and why did Braylon Edwards almost get arrested
Braylon Edwards is a Wide Receiver, why would you try to hurt someone
in a club knowing that your bigger than they are. You are a Grown Black
man, they would look for anything to put your famous self in Jail. Keep
it up you will find yourself in jail, killed, or house arrest.
I THINK THAT LEBRON JAMES IS FULL OF YOU NO WHAT WHEN HE CAME DOWN TO JACKSON MISSISSIPPI HE WAS ACTING LIKE WE WASNT NOTHING.; HE DIDNT EVEN WANT TO SIGN AUTOGRAPH FOR THE KIDS HE ACT LIKE HE WAS MADE OF GOLD AND ALL WE SUPPOSE TO DO WAS LOOK AT HIM .SO AT THIS POINT HE IS NO ROLE MODEL FOR NO ONE BUT HIS SELF ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS AND EVERYONE THAT LOOK UP TO HIM. SO THE POINT ISI DONT FEEL SORRY FOR HIS FRIEND I FEEL SORRY FOR THE KIDS THAT LOOK UP TO HIM!!!!!!!
It really makes me sad to know that another sports figure lost control!
OKAY, now if this football player hasn’t even been arrested yet, Why are we listeng to some big-mouthed, big-headed OVERATED basketball star called…..LeBron James????

I dont know what to think of all this. I feel at times James can be a bit big headed but he is right. People look up to these players and they need to act like gentlmen when they are in the public eye. As far as edwards he is a big cry baby…..”hold on to the ball before u go @ the king!!!!!!!!!!
