The prosecution and subsequent conviction and sentencing of Michael Vick to jail for 23 months was a mockery of justice in America. What justice? What happened to Michael Vick was and is not about dogs. It is though someone or something is attempting to break his spirit and send a message to others like him. Money lost can be regained. Michael Vick is a survivor. He learned to survive as a poor man and as a rich man. He learned to live in both worlds. He never forgot his roots.

Hopefully he will come away from this experience a stronger and more discerning individual. Hopefully he will have learned to carefully choose his friends. All who pretend to be friends aren’t friends. Michael Vick has been forced to learn many of life’s lessons while he sits and meditates in prison.
