Michael Vick Released By The Falcons

Michael Vick is officially a free agent.

The Atlanta Falcons released the quarterback today after they were unable to trade him.

What a shock, Atlanta was unable to trade a mediocre suspended quarterback who has spent the last two years in jail.

Teams can sign Vick even though he’s still serving a suspension from NFL commish Roger Goodell.

Do you think anyone will be foolish enough to sign Vick?

A dog is not worth a man career. If some people would stop kissing their dogs he would not be in this possession. Dogs are pets not family members. If it were not a man of color the punishment would not have been that bad. I like dogs too, but the are not worth a persons career. If you don’t understan this, get a life.

It’s all about politics man. You have a $%##$*# back on his radio show after he critiqued multiple of professional african american women basketball players, There is always a way of getting a white person out of negative publlicity. Leave that man alone and let that man play football. HE was given his punishment, He served it….Let it Go! I hope whatever NFL team sign him do the right thing and I hope he come out and whoop all the team asses on the football field. (except for the new orleans saints though-that is my team lol) COME ON M. VICK SHOW THEM HOW TO DO THIS! I AM WITH YOU ALL THE WAY BROTHER!

Michael Vick has served his time for a crime to humanity with the abuse of figthing dogs for cash, so with all that said and done “it is time to move on”.

Unfortunately society will not be fair to Vick, because we have a history in American of being inconsistent when it comes to people of color, but wake up this is nothing new living in America.

On the football playing field Michael Vick is a warrior and a true comeptitor with natural talent that cannot be overlooked. So the reailty is from Miam Dolphines to San Fransico Forty Niners teams are getting ready to sign him in hopes of a NFL Superbowl Championship in the next few years.

Not to point fingers, but I could right a book on Athelets, Musicians, Politicians and other professionals who messed up in their careers, but were given a second chance.

So with this all said and done, “why can’t we good this talent young black man” a seconf chance who did not have any issues on the field, but made a mistake off the field in an illegal sport.

Remember “Rape, Child Molestation, Illegal Steroid use and many more issues that have pop up in the media are wrong, but we have depending on the celebrity dealt with it and moved on; so then we should also be consistant and move on with this Michael Vick thing.

GMAN…

Let him/her without sin cast the first stone. We all have skeletons in our closets, some more severe than others. Everyone deserves redemption and I am waiting for Cincinnati to get its opportunity at another Super Bowl. Because “nothing would have been finer than to beat the 49ers at the super bowl”.

He served his time so let him play ball. He was the best quarterback in the league.

Mike has served his time and he did not invent dogs and chicken (cocks) fighting. He is not the only person involved with a sport that has gone on for centuries. What about the human fighting that begun during the Roman Empire time! Give him a break he served his time and it is double jeporady to do time for the same crime twice. I do not see the protest against the baby killers and child molesters bringing as much attention as this has. The Falcons do not want him, that is their loss. I am proud to see so many have spoken out for Vick! This has happened for him to realize really wassup in society and never to get too relaxed. I think he will get an opportunity again. Look at Kobe, he had his moment when they were ready to served his head on a platter. Dogged him out and he came through last night. The Lakers kept him and it payed off. If God is in the plan, Vick cannot do anything but come up. This is a lesson to be learned for all of the young ones that is coming behind him. Keep your nose clean, stay focus, and listen to those that have experienced things that they have not. I know Michael will be fine and whomever ends up with him, look out SuperBowl!

It will be good for them, and SO!! SAD for the falcons.

vick is a good player and we should not let such a good talent go to waste he paid for his crime god continues to forgive us for everything we do and constantly gives us a chance so why not do the same for him

What the . . .? Mediocre quarterback? Oh yeah you’re right for a black quarterback. The standards and requirements are much higher. I’ve never seen anything more hypocritical in my life. People are talking about dogs. We all acknowledge what Michael Vick did was wrong, no doubt. Still, be fair. Well . . . what about chickens, cows, pigs, ducks, fish and any other animal that’s killed for food or sport? Boycott restaurants, slaughterhouses and grocery stores. Become a vegetarian. Don’t buy anything made from leather or fur. Where’s the outrage? If any of these suggestions sound ridiculous . . . exactly. You know you refuse to make those types of sacrifices. It’s sad that some people care more about dogs than people. I don’t see anyone out protesting about children, women or men being neglected and abused. What about the war? What about people getting murdered period? Really. Let that man move on with his life.

gonegoimg Said on

One can only hope he never plays again and deserves his bankrupt fate. His sentence was too short

alikat Said on

Get over it and let the man play. He paid his dues. WE WILL TAKE HIM IN OAKLAND!!!

LAXMAN Said on

I think it is absolutly rididulous to ruin a mans life for a VERY STUPID mistake. i am be no means defending what he did, but the penalty that he has to pay is way to extreme. first they take his money, take away his career, and send him to prison. Now that hes out hes practically bankrupt and no one wants to sign him for the trouble hes caused. No one should look down on him now that everything has been taken from him. LET HIM PLAY! There are plenty of teams that need a quarterback (DETROIT). and even if his passing is iffy make him gain a few pounds and make him a running back… the guy is fast as SH*T!
