NFL To Look For On-Field Gang Signs

Way to go, Paul Pierce.

Because of your suspicious hand signals (ie: gang signs) during the 2008 NBA Playoffs, the NFL has decided to hire experts to study film to see if players are throwing up gang signs as part of their on-field celebrations.

“There have been some suspected things we’ve seen,” said Milt Ahlerich, the league’s vice president of security, according to the Times’ report. “When we see it, we quietly jump on it immediately, directly with the team and the player or employee involved to cease and desist. Period.”

You’re telling me the league let Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots run rampant for years stealing signals, yet they are more concerned to see if Steve Smith is throwing up a Crips sign following a touchdown?

I would love to see who the so-called “experts” who are going to be studying film for gang signs.

Unless they are wearing some Dickies and Chucks, I’m not going to believe whatever they come up with.

Dickies and Chucks! LMAO!!!! But this was talked about a couple of years ago. They had video of players talking to the camera throw up “signs”. I think one video showed Az-Zahir Hakim “crip walking” when he was with the Rams after catching a touchdown.

YOU KNOW THE NFL IS GETTING TO BE REAL CRAZY. DON’T YOU THINK THEY NEED TO SPEND THAT MONEY ON THE INJURIED PLAYERS. I REALLY BELEIVE THE PATRIOTS WEREN’T THE ONLY ONE STEALING
SIGNALS, THEY WERE THE ONLY ONE CAUGHT. MY FEELING IS
SECURITY LET TO MANY THINGS GET OUT OF HAND IN THE STANDS,
PATRONS CAN DO NAME CALLING AND ANYTHING ELSE AND NOTHING IS DONE. LIKE THAT BASKETBALL GAME A FEW YEARS AGO. WE KNOW WHO THEY ARE LOOKING AT AND THERE GOES THE FEAR FACTOR. THE ONE THING I KNOW FOR SURE IS THIS IN AMERICA YOU WILL
DESTROY WHAT YOU CREATE, LOOK AT THE MESS IN BASEBALL . YOU WENT AFTER ONE AND NOW YOU ARE TAKING DOWN A GROUP.

if you look at the picture he also could be a kappa. i can’t tell from the angle but some of the players throw up their frat signs

I agree with Kvezi88, what about these players who belong to Black Fraternies? Paul Piece does look like he is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, and I see players throw their fraternity’s hand sign in the air all the time, especially in the NFL. So I would like to know what kind of specialist they plan on getting to figure out when players are throwing up gang signs, especially if he does not know anyting about Alpha’s, Kappa, Sigma’s, Que’s or Iota’s (who are all black Fraternities) hand signs.

Um…

So I understand the whole Black Frats hand signals…but why is it that whenever people put up hand signals, specifically black people, they have to be in gangs. I mean i have a hand signal that my friends and I use and I am not a member of a gang.
I just think this is taking this a little too far…first the NBA makes players have a dresscode because they “were unprofessional”, which is somewhat true. It seems like these policies and inquiries are targeting black people. And quite frankly it is crazy. And what are they going to do to find out if he is a part of a gang or if his signals were gang signals as opposed to just a hand signal.

This is too funny…So its going to be a 10 yard pendalty for improper gang sign. Its just another way to target black athletes.
