O.J. Mayo To Declare for NBA Draft

USC freshman O.J. Mayo will declare for the NBA draft according to a school spokesperson.
What are the chances that Mayo didn’t want to play alongside Lil’ Romeo next season?
Mayo, who didn’t live up to the hype he generated in high school, averaged 20.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the 21-12 Trojans.
His game would benefit so much more from one more season in college.
The 6-foot-5 Mayo didn’t really hit his stride until the end of the season and finished his college career with a disappointing loss to Kansas State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
But you can’t get many young athletes to turn down guaranteed money, and Mayo will certainly be a lottery pick and could go Top 5.
As for you USC fans, don’t worry.
