Well, that didn’t take long.
Swimmer Michael Phelps began his quest for eight gold medals on Sunday, shattering the world record in the 400 IM to win his first goal medal.
Phelps beat out Laszlo Cseh of Hungary and rival USA swimmer Ryan Lochte with a time of 4 minutes, 3.84 seconds.
