Just when one NFL player is putting his legal problems behind him, another one is getting ready for an orange jumpsuit.

Plaxico Burress pleaded guilty on Thursday to weapons charges and was sentenced to two years in prison.

So much for turning down that three-month plea deal.

You can kiss that NFL career goodbye, Plaxico.

His attorney, Benjamin Brafman, made a great point today saying if Plaxico was a regular guy, he probably would have never been arrested.

While this might be true, leave the gun at home if you know extra eyeballs are going to be in your direction.

In terms of how this compares to Vick’s crime, his actions were still more heinous and twisted than Burress.

Plaxico is guilty of just being a big ol’ dummy.
