instead congraulating the usa, they were talking about how the world
caught up with usa basketball ,what player haters they were .
The u.s.a beat the world by an average 29 points a freaking game,
they have not lost one game, even in scrimmage “what the hell”.
I would think that Spain would have made the game more compeitive,
after being blown out by 37 points by the u.s.a in the pool game.
Sound like a little envy , because those brothers was in Beijing taken over
barking like a dog name rover,because ain’t know future in our frontin.

Who, my dear, is “hating” on U.S. basketball? It’s the first title they’ve one in their last 4 attempts. They lost the last Olympics, and have lost the last 2 World Championships they’ve played in…….and the world barely recognizes basketball worldwide…..the U.S. should be winning every championship!…but they don’t.

First of all, I love my team…….. U.S. all the way. I was quite RELIEVED that they won the GOLD MEDAL. This was not an easy win, by a long shot.

If anyone thinks the U.S. Men’s Basket Ball team cannot be beat did not watch the 2008 Gold Medal Game. If it weren’t for some late game mental lapse by Spanish players (the same mental game they were trying to play on the U.S.), the outcome may have been different.

20 years ago, the NBA did not have the level of “foreign” players you see today. These are non Black players who have skills that are up to par with most NBA players, dare I say some of the elite U.S. players, or else they would not be playing in the NBA today…….. there can be no disputing this. But they are the only ones on their respective nation’s team. In the last 20 years the world has LEARNED the U.S. system of Basketball, but, the U.S. has disrespected, and not focussed upon, the International Style and Regulations.

Yes the U.S. blew out Spain in pool play. Spain learned from their mistakes and came back with an all together new approach. The U.S. team did not respect Spain going into the Gold Medal game and almost lost it.

IT IS NOT HATING ON THE U.S. to say that the rest of the world is catching up, because, quite truthfully, in the last 20 years, they have, or the U.S. wouldn’t have changed the rules to allow “professional” athletes participate in events that were previously forbidden to them.
Know your history, know the game.

Black people put too much effort into hip hop and basketball and not enough into EDUCATION. Affirmative action is the only way blacks can go to those schools and take spots meant for more qualified Asians like myself. Asian Americans are model citizens who don’t commit crimes, work very hard, get excellent educations and don’t drink KOOL-AIDE. We worship the Sun and are too smart to believe in God like blacks do. We know that religion is falsehood created by people who don’t know any better. I’m so glad I was born Asian and not black. Black people are lazy, irresponsible and uneducated. They like to deflect blame onto white people and are in DENIAL about racism. They want things handed to them on a silver platter without earning it. I feel a sense of relief that the USA basketball team won the gold medal. 56-0 in international competition for J-Kidd?!! That is crazy, man! Jason Kidd doesn’t need an NBA championship to add to his resume. He has a 56-0 record in international competition along with two gold medals! That should be enough to cement his legacy. But I know that Jason is one of the ultimate competitors in the NBA and before he retires, he would want at least one more chance at winning that elusive NBA championship!
