“Best receiver to ever play the game. I can’t show my highlights because I don’t own NFL Films, but all my coaches in college, in high school, in junior college, they all told me I could be the best. But they must’ve lied because that title was already given to Jerry Rice. Just because you have stats doesn’t mean you’re the best.”

- Former NFL wide receiver Andre Rison

Now I see why Left-Eye torched your mansion.

Best receiver to ever play the game?

Really, Bad Moon?

But really though?

The best ever; Not at all. a good #3/slot type receiver. But wasn’t a very good all around route runner. The Deion exchange proved that. Although Rison could burn the deep post (No pun intended), on an individual basis he had no memorable, solo, game winning performances. A very good talent but lacked the focus to be a consistent game breaker type wide out. That “Best Ever” statement signifies the disregard for true dedication and respect for the sport at the professional level. He’s not even in the top fifty as far as production is concerned. And talent wise I can put 25 ahead of him easy who played within his era.
