According to a report by Yahoo Sports, Ming is expected to miss the entire NBA season next year and there is a chance his career will be cut short due to a foot injury.

Ming re-fractured his navicular bone in the 2009 NBA Playoffs after having three pins inserted a year ago.

Yao’s foot is not healing and it shouldn’t come as a surprise considering his 7-foot-6 frame.

With Ming out and Tracy McGrady the ultimate stiff, the Rockets are going to experience a crash landing in the Western Conference standings next season.
