Mike Vick Headed To Buffalo?

Michael Vick to … Buffalo?

That’s what ex-NFL coach and NBC announcer Tony Dungy told fans on Sunday, saying the Buffalo Bills had an interest in the Eagles backup quarterback.

Because if Terrell Owens wasn’t enough of a headcase on that team, they want to add more of a potential liability in Vick.

Not everyone on the Bills feels the move would be the right one for the organization.

Wide receiver Lee Evans thinks it might be for the best if Vick didn’t come to the team.

“Probably not,” Evans said on if Vick in Buffalo would work. “I love him as a player and everything that he’s done for the league, but I don’t think it’ll be anything we’ll aggressively go after.”

At 3-5 and last place in the AFC East, the season is just about done for the Bills. Starter Trent Edwards hasn’t been impressive but he’s likely to perform better than Vick, who hasn’t seen serious playing time at the quarterback position in over two years.

In six games this season, Vick is 2-for-6 for six yards.

‘Nuff said.

Mike Vick To Return Week 3

Carolina Panthers Oakland Raiders fans, get your dog collars ready.

Wait, dog collars are a part of your weekly outfit in the first place.

It appears Mike Vick will be eligible to play Week 1 Week 3 of the NFL Season.

Fanhouse got a report wrong on Wednesday in reporting that Vick would return for the start of the regular season.

Instead, Vick’s suspension will be lifted for Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Eagles first road game after Vick’s return is not until October 18 against the Raiders.

See, Roger Goodell is not such a bad guy after all.

The one person who might be most annoyed by this possible move is Eagles starting quarterback Donovan McNabb.

He has already on multiple occasions expressed his frustration toward the disruption of the offense when Vick is on the field.

Even Vick supporters have to know this is McNabb’s team and the Eagles are only going to win if Donovan is happy and on the same page with his teammates.

Sept. 13 can’t get here soon enough…

NAACP To Hold Pro-Vick Demonstration

My people, I tell ya…

The Philly chapter of the NAACP along with the Black Clergy of Philadelphia are planning a massive demonstration on Thursday in support of Michael Vick.

No, this is not PETA protesting Vick for his crime.

This is a rally supporting Vick.

…um, why?

“We believe Michael Vick has served his time, paid his debt to society and deserves a second chance and the animal rights groups want to hold him hostage for the rest of his life,” J. Whyatt Mondesire, president of the Philadelphia chapter of the NAACP, said Wednesday. “We think that’s patently unfair. It denies Michael Vick’s basic civil rights, denies him his ability to make a living.”

When did playing in the NFL become a right and not a privilege?

Last I checked, PETA didn’t prevent Vick from signing two-year contract with the Eagles.

I’m all for a guy getting a second chance but I have a problem with marching for a convected felon.

You think Martin and Malcolm would be marching for this man?

Does the NAACP and the Black Clergy plan on holding Chris Brown demonstrations outside of a Rihanna concert and say women’s rights groups are preventing Brown from making a living?

Come on people, priorities…
