Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession during a traffic stop on Thursday.

NFL players getting busted for burning tree is nothing new.

But Holmes made it a point to acknowledge to officer that he had marijuana in the vehicle and showed cops where the blunts were.

Honesty is not the best policy in this instance, as the 24-year-old former Ohio State stud could face up to a year in prison if convicted.
