“That’s the thing, what I find so unfair about it is that I’m not the only guy out of 32 teams that didn’t show up. That’s what’s so frustrating about the whole thing is that everybody nitpicks at anything and everything I do.”
- Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens on missing voluntary workout sessions.
Yes, #81, that might be true.
But those other guys on the 32 other teams aren’t trying to be the center of attention.
Shut up, make your $6 million and lead Buffalo to a 8-8 season.

“I talked to Coach Jauron prior to the start of the workouts about that. Right now if there’s nothing mandatory that I have to be a part of, then I won’t intend to be there.”

Terrell Owens is off to a great start in Buffalo.
The Buffalo Bills wide receiver is missing the start of the team’s 12-week voluntary conditioning program.
Yes, voluntary.
But with all eyes watching your every move, #81 might want to take the proactive route and show up to keep acquainted with his new teammates.
Head coach Dick Jauron doesn’t sound thrilled either:
“Terrell in the past has not been involved in all of those things. My hope is that he’s here. He knows how important it is for us, particularly in his first year with us.”
Don’t say San Francisco, Philadelphia and Dallas didn’t warn you, Buffalo.

Well, that didn’t last long.
Terrell Owens didn’t spend much time on the free agent market as the Buffalo Bills signed the wide receiver to a one-year contract worth $6.5 million.
And no, don’t pretend like you knew Buffalo would be the team that would snag Owens.
I’m not sure anyone saw Owens going from “America’s Team to “North America’s Team” as T.O. dubbed the Bills during his press conference on Saturday.
Quarterback Trent Edwards, I wish you luck and Godspeed.

Any NFL team in search of an arrogant, overrated, self-absorbent 35-year-old cancer of a wide receiver?
If so, Terrell Owens is available to destroy your locker room.
Owens was released by the Dallas Cowboys late Wednesday night, with the team taking a $9 million salary cap hit by releasing the wide receiver.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Jerry Jones might have finally learned his lesson.
Gone are Adam “Pacman” Jones and now Owens.
Tank Johnson, let this be a warning to you.
Where do you think T.O. will end up, besides the obvious choice of Washington, where Dan Snyder is willing to throw money at anyone who has a Madden rating of over 85.

In case you’re keeping track at home …
Dallas Cowboy related reality television shows in 09 = 2
Playoff victories since 1996 = 0
As if Michael Irvin’s reality show wasn’t bad enough where an “average Joe” will have the chance of making the Cowboys, but now word comes along that Terrell Owens is getting his own reality show on VH1.
The show will also feature Monique Jackson and Kita Williams, his publicist and best friend.
Three divas enjoying the NFL offseason sounds like compelling and riveting reality television.

Have the Dallas Cowboys finally come to their senses?
Well, more like offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.
Garrett, who most folks within the NFL think will someday take over as head coach of the Cowboys, reportedly wants Terrell Owens gone.
I mean, can you blame him?
Numbers aside, Owens has been a cancer during stops in San Francisco and Philadelphia and he tried his best to bring down the Cowboys this season with his spat over Tony Romo playing favorites with tight end Jason Witten.
And at 35, he’s slowly reaching the downside of his career.
With Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton, the Cowboys have a decent 1-2 WR duo without the headaches of the self-absorbed and volatile Owens.
Owner Jerry Jones made a great decision by dumping Adam “Pacman” Jones; let’s see if he makes it 2-for-2 with dumping T.O.
