He’s back.
Officially.
Tiger Woods stormed back on the final day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, rallying from a 5-stroke deficit and defeating Sean O’Heir for his 66th career win.
Always one for the dramatics, Woods sank a 12-foot birdie putt as the sun was setting in Orlando, the perfect backdrop for Woods first PGA win of 2009.
The 5-stroke comeback was tied for the largest in Tiger’s professional career.
T-minus 2-weeks to The Masters…

It wasn’t pretty.
But Tiger Woods capped out his return to the golf course with a victory during the first day of the Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona.
Woods defeated Brendan Jones 3 and 2, advancing to the Round of 32 on Thursday.
Tiger was hardly on his A-game, but he had more than enough to defeat an overmatched Jones.
He made up for his three bogeys with two eagles and three birdies, competiting in his first tournament since last year’s U.S. Open.
Only Tiger could get me to watch the first round of a golf tournament on a Wednesday afternoon.
And I’ll be right back in front of the television tomorrow afternoon when he takes on Tim Clark.

Look the hell out, PGA.
Tiger’s back.
Woods announced Thursday on his website that the golfer will return at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona.
He’s been out of action since last June after his stunning U.S. Open victory with a torn ACL and a broken leg.
Welcome back, champ.
