That’s the USA men’s basketball team that is seeking redemption for a bronze finish at Athens?
This could be a long two weeks then.
Team USA struggled for most of the game before pulling away and defeating Australia 87-76 on Tuesday.
Yes, I know it was the final tuneup before they play China on Sunday.
But last I checked, Australia is not known for basketball.

You have to beat a team by more than 11 when their best player on the floor is named Patty (No disrespect to Patty Mills, a great young stud at Saint Mary’s College).
If the United States goes against a country with an inside presence (China and Yao Ming) and they go cold from three-point range (3-for-18 against Australia), the “Redeem Team” could be looking at another embarrassing performance in the Olympics.
They won by 11 points. I dont see what the big deal is. Im pretty sure they wont play like this when its crunch time. I think they got a little to relax.
