I recently caught a few moments of a BET “get out the vote” program. As I listened to thre inanecomments of the host and guests, one of which was a rep from the NAACP, I now realize why there needs to be an IQ test to allow anyone the vote. Their comments also underscore the fact that our nation’s public schools (to which most if not all of the commentators have been exposed) are turning out a generation of functional illiterates.

With the changing landscape of the world..we as young people need to be able to be competitive. We need to lazer focus on what careers we want to pursue? Short hand [figure out what problem you were created to solve]. How do you find what problem you were created to solve..you might ask..simple look at the things that you hate…then look at the things you love….your in between those two paralells. The things you hate your called to fix them. The things you love your called to strengthen them. Easy right….right!!!!

I am a first time voter and I so motivated to vote this year. And voting for Senator Obama.

As we get closer and closer to election I hear more stories about trying to suppress the vote. I heard in Virginia students were told they could lose their scholarships if they voted locally. And also in Virginia a flier was sent out to tell Democrats to vote the day after election day Nov 5th. In Pennsylvania students were told they could be arrested at polls for traffic tickets. I guess this is the kind of nonsense voters will have to deal with.
