Obama supports abortion. Period. A Christian should NEVER vote for a pro-abortion candidate. If both candidates were pro-abortion, then as a Christian, I would not vote.

Now, as for people not voting for Obama because he’s black (or half black, however you want to look at it) we as black people have GOT to get over that hump! If we keep thinking with that mentality, we might as well consider the race over and flush Obama’s win down the toilet. Sure, there are many folks out there who are fighting hard to make sure the black man doesn’t get into the white house–that much is clear–but to automatically write the man off at this stage in the game is ludicrous! I agree that abortion is a huge issue in our country today. Personally that is why I was for Mccain in the beginning. But the mroe I listened to both candidates more I had to make a decision that would better this nation. Ok, Mccain is pro-life but, we can’t force someone to believe the same way, just like we can’t force someone to believe that capital punishment is right/wrong. It is unconstitutional. Its like trying to force someone to believe in your religion. To sit there and say, ok you are going to have to believe what i believe in, is the worst mistake you can make. If ever there was a way to turn someone against God, that is it. Poeple don’t like having other people’s religions/beliefs forced on them. And in the end it is the decision of the woman who is debating the choices in the first place. Whether she believes in God or not, the decision is hers to make. We as Christians should be reaching out to these women and spreading the word of God and giving them an alternative, NOT outright TELLING them what they’re doing is wrong.
