Our economy’s in a recession, the unemployment rate is steadily increasing, Bush is still in office, its cold outsid.  This couldn’t be a better time to take a quick break from politics and policy and talk about something a bit more, er, fun!

There hasn’t been so much excitement about a White House First Lady’s  wardrobe since Jackie Kennedy Onassis set up shop on Pennsylvania Ave. in ‘61. Big name designers from Chanel to Diane Von Furstenburg are all vying to get a chance to dress future First Lady Michelle Obama for Inauguration.  With the economy in crisis, Americans moral is unseasonably low, will Mrs. O choose one of the designers gowns? Or should she opt for a less pricey choice, to show the American people that she has our economic plight in mind? I mean she has made cost concious labels like White House Black Market and J. Crew famous.
