While having some infamous girl talk, cleaning out my closet with the help of Aysia and Staci was actually kind of dope. I found an old costume wig from back in the day that I hadn‘t seen in forever. It gave me and the ladies the perfect idea for our next party, an ’80s party. We just knew it would be bomb. . . And IT was.
Not only was it a poppin’ party plan, but it gave all of us the opportunity to have some fun, including Staci, who finally decided to come out and play. Plus it helped Aysia, whose relationship with Justin was slowly but surely blossoming. Tyler gets a warning from Justin, who pleads with her not to cause drama. Tyler and Gerren keep their distance at the function even though Gerren and Moriah have a little one-on-one time. Moriah and Tyler also have some one-on-one time that ends with a few small kisses.
Kenny comes to holler at me, but there is by no means any type of connection. I confirm that there is nothing romantic, nor platonic between us. Nothing personal towards Kenny, but he just isn’t my type nor on my level, and while I knew that from jump street, I decided to play my cards. On a better note, I met somebody who finally seems worth my time, and he is hands down a fly guy with a whole lot of personality to match. (Ya’ digggggg…!)
Trason meets his potential new boo, Blair, at the DRE Group. Mr. Smooth (Trason) asks her out to lunch, but he barely gets the invitation out before one of his supervisors reminds him to stay focused on business, not pleasure. The truth is there is always a time and a place for everything. This is exactly why you usually do not mix business with pleasure, but this is without a doubt not always the case when you’ve got your priorities straight. Trason agrees to show more than just his player side. (Holler!) Hopefully his meet and greet with Blair turns into something special because he truly deserves somebody good in his life.
Gerren talks to her mom about altercation with Tyler at the beach. Gerren admits to knocking Tyler’s hat off her head, and Gerren’s mom is not amused. We all know that even when we aren’t trying to hear our parents out, they only want and mean the best for us. Gerren may not have been trying to listen, but I know she complied because as hardheaded as she can be, she’s a smart girl.
Celibacy is nothing new in Moriah’s life since he made this decision to stay committed to God on his very own. I quite frankly admire Mo’ for being so disciplined because it takes a real man to do such a thing. He has a strong will. In this day and age, such a thing is virtually rare and special. Kenny on the other hand with such comments, concerns and beliefs just comes off as a typical teenage boy.
