Road Trip

March 19th, 2009

fb_bh3_ep10_seiko

Everybody was busy getting ready for the big road trip to Las Vegas. We were all excited. Staci, Aysia and me were all rollin’ together, and Justin’s with JoJo, Trason and Kenny.

Tyler is amped about her romantic date with Moriah. This time it’s Mo’s turn to meet Tyler’s mom. Since her mother has already heard so much about Moriah, she was anxious to meet him to find out more about the guy who had Tyler so hype. In all, Moriah’s meeting with Tyler mom’s is pleasant (Yay!). Moriah and Tyler enjoy a peaceful dinner together that ends with a sweet kiss.

In Vegas, Justin is surprised at his birthday dinner when I arrive with Cal’. His face told all. I wasn’t expecting him to look so surprised, but I could tell he was somehow touched. I didn’t know what to think. He admits to JoJo that he may still have feelings for me, but, actions speak louder than words. Unfortunately for Justin, me and Cal’ decide to take our relationship to the next level and become exclusive when he asks me to be his girl in Las Vegas.

Vegas Was a Hell of a Great Time

March 17th, 2009

staciseiko1

WELL FIRST AND FOREMOST, VEGAS WAS A HELL OF A GREAT TIME EVEN THOUGH KEVIN DIDN’T WANT ME TO GO. I NEEDED IT. WHEN WE GOT THERE, I DIDN’T KNOW WE WERE GOING TO PARTY SO HARD.

SEIKO HANGING OUT WITH HER BOY TOY THE WHOLE TIME KIND OF SUCKED. WE CAME TO VEGAS FOR AN ALL-GIRLS TRIP, AND SHE MADE IT HER LOVE NEST.  AYSIA AND JUSTIN LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE HAVING A GOOD TIME.  AT OTHER TIMES, THEY DON’T SEEM TO CONNECT. MAYBE IT’S TO SOON TO TELL.

YOU KNOW IT REALLY SUCKED THAT EVERYONE HAD THEY BOO, BUT SEIKO DIDN’T WANT MY MAN TO GO. I WONDER WHY.  I WISH MY BOO WAS HERE WITH ME RIGHT. NOW HE WOULD KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE PARTY A LITTLE BETTER.

OH, I DON’T WANT TO FORGET ABOUT TYLER AND MORIAH. GOOD LUCK ON THIS JOURNEY THAT THE BOTH OF YOU ARE ABOUT TO GO ON. YOU BOTH ARE CRAZY IN YOUR OWN WAY, AND THIS IS GOING TO BE A CRAZY ASS RELATIONSHIP.

VEGAS WAS PLAY TIME AND NOW IT’S TIME TO GET BACK TO WORK. I AM TRYING TO GET SOME IDEAS OFF THE GROUND BY TELL’N FRIENDS AND ASK’N FOR HELP IN MAKING THIS HAPPEN, BUT WITH ALL THIS DRAMA GOING AROUND, I DON’T THINK ANY ONE IS UP TO THE TASK.

I WISH THE BEST FOR SEIKO AND CAL. THE SAME GOES FOR TYLER AND MORIAH, AND TYLER YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE FRIENDS WITH GERREN ANY MORE; IT’S IN THE RULE BOOK. LOOK IT UP.

DON’T FORGET TO HAVE “ZT”‘ ZERO TOLERANCE FOR UNDER AGE DRINKING AND DIVING.

LOVE ALWAYS TO ALL MY FANS.

Staci’s Take: Stop all this hate and disrespect

March 11th, 2009

bh304_staci.jpg

The death of my baby was truly hard on Kevin and me. So you could understand that going to the beach party was hard too, knowing that everyone was going to ask about the baby. I needed that to get all the sadness out of my system, but my only wish was that Kevin was there with me. Unfortunately, he had to work.

Now Tyler, Moriah and Gerren… they need to stop all this hate and disrespect. Gerren looks to me like she is trying to move on and Tyler is acting like a kid with the back-and-forth fighting. Moriah, why? Why would you allow Tyler to act like that? I thought you liked girls with class. Do you like when girls fight over you?

Taking Charge

March 11th, 2009

fb_bh3_ep8_seiko.jpg

Gerren talks to Etienne’s mom about the upcoming charity she was supposed to be launching her T-shirts at, with regret of not having them ready in time due to wanting them to be absolutely perfect. Etienne’s mom just so happens to be, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph (the mother from “Moesha”). His mom forgives Gerren and instead agrees to help discuss the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases and infections at the event.

Aysia is blessed to have somebody in her life who cares enough to go through the trouble of giving Justin the third degree. It was all well worth it at the end of the day. Their one-on-one couldn‘t have been better because they ended it with a juicy, wet one ( a kiss). So, it was all good. Justin and I realized we just so happened to both be planning trips to Las Vegas, also known as “Sin City”. We decided to coordinate trips for the guys and ladies to celebrate Justin’s birthday. We were all excited and looking forward to what was to come, especially me. I was moving forward with visiting my new found friend and possible (Mr.Perfect) interest, Cal’.

Doing Our Part

March 4th, 2009

fb_bh3_ep7_gerrenstaciseiko2.jpg

Gerren is my girl, so when she told me she had an idea to start a day camp for girls, I was geeked and obliged immediately. I was flattered she considered me to help her with the young ladies. I knew right then and there we would be doing our part in not only helping the community, but making a difference in these girls’ lives. That alone was a gift within itself for not only me, but all of us. Staci, who was asked to join in as well discussed drug use and the dangers along with her experiences for reference. Gerren spoke on dealing with an eating disorder while modeling in her younger years due to self esteem issues. I tried to connect with them in regards to gang violence and the cold, harsh reality of what could happen if in the wrong place at the wrong time when affiliating with potential troublemakers. Being able to express our feelings towards some of the issues faced in everyday life helped us just as much as it helped all of the young women in the program.

It was officially time to get out and have some fun! Since I had been officially invited to Las Vegas to visit Cal’ and Justin just so happened to be planning a celebration out there for his birthday, I saw it as the perfect opportunity to get it poppin’. “Viva Las Vegas”! Whatever that means. . . It sounds cool. (I didn’t know what that meant, but I just asked somebody and it still sounds pretty dope.) ;D The trip was my chance to spend some one-on-one time with Cal’ and since he is such a nice guy, I only see us moving forward. I was definetely excited. Plus, being there for my boy’s birthday would be priceless. It was time … for a road trip! Whoop Whoop!

There comes a time in every girl’s life when you’re forced to introduce your love interest for approval. This time around, it’s Aysia’s turn to officially bring Justin home to meet her aunt who not only interrogates him, but questions him about premarital sex, his criminal past and his intentions towards Aysia. Shoot… I thought my dad was bad, and we were just friends. Aysia’s aunt is definetely the “new sheriff in town.” We only want what’s best for those we love, so it’s quite understandable why Aysia’s aunt felt the need to go so hard on Justin. She had to put her foot down to let him know she meant business. In all, everything went well (Thank God.) and Aysia was allowed to go on her date with Justin. They finish it all off with a kiss. (Awwwwww. . .Yay!) (0=

Moving On

February 25th, 2009

bh3_fb_ep6_dinner.jpg

I always say, “Whatever makes you happy…” You can’t fight true love. Just sit back, relax and let it happen. Regardless of how it happened, it’s happening and there’s nothing anybody except the people who are in it can do.

Tyler and Moriah really seem to have chemistry, and there’s no harm in finding somebody who can put and keep a smile on your face. Moriah even goes out of his way to prepare a meal for Tyler while he and his mother discuss her, and Tyler also gives her mother the rundown on her planned date with Mo’… Let’s just hope for the best for these two and the meeting between his mother and his new boo. (Any guy who spends his time in the kitchen for his woman, even if it’s for a piece of toast, cares. This really must be something special because actions by far speak louder than words.) Although Tyler was a bit skeptical towards the meet and greet with Moriah’s mother because of her notorious reputation, everything seemed to go smoothly. Moriah apparently prepared a meal for Tyler that she wasn’t able to indulge in, but that didn’t seem to affect them or their date any. It’s the thought that counts.

Gerren may have been disrespected and lost a friend, but at the end of the day, a friend lost is simply a common life lesson learned with someone who may have been better off without you in the first place… So, it’s all good. Besides, I doubt Gerren has lost any sleep due to this incident, especially since she herself has a new friend, Justin.

Gerren and Justin meet up, and he shares the big news that me (Seiko) and him plan to be baptized soon. Aysia being my girl and all, I had to give her the 411 also. I was especially excited about telling her, since I knew it would come as a big surprise to her.

bh3_fb_ep6_seiko2.jpg

At the baptism that not only myself but Justin agreed to take part in, I found myself standing next to an empty seat wondering where Justin was. I was so nervous and more so because my friend, who was not only supposed to be there for me but with me, was nowhere to be found. Just in time, Justin makes it (Thank God). Better late than never, he makes his way into the church to the baptism and joins me in line to be submerged in the water. (Bam!) It is now time to begin a new chapter of our lives, together. That was without a doubt one of the happiest, most fulfilling and memorable days of our lives, hands down.

Party All the Time!

February 20th, 2009

bh3_costumes.jpg

While having some infamous girl talk, cleaning out my closet with the help of Aysia and Staci was actually kind of dope. I found an old costume wig from back in the day that I hadn‘t seen in forever. It gave me and the ladies the perfect idea for our next party, an ’80s party. We just knew it would be bomb. . . And IT was.

Not only was it a poppin’ party plan, but it gave all of us the opportunity to have some fun, including Staci, who finally decided to come out and play. Plus it helped Aysia, whose relationship with Justin was slowly but surely blossoming. Tyler gets a warning from Justin, who pleads with her not to cause drama. Tyler and Gerren keep their distance at the function even though Gerren and Moriah have a little one-on-one time. Moriah and Tyler also have some one-on-one time that ends with a few small kisses.

Kenny comes to holler at me, but there is by no means any type of connection. I confirm that there is nothing romantic, nor platonic between us. Nothing personal towards Kenny, but he just isn’t my type nor on my level, and while I knew that from jump street, I decided to play my cards. On a better note, I met somebody who finally seems worth my time, and he is hands down a fly guy with a whole lot of personality to match. (Ya’ digggggg…!)

Trason meets his potential new boo, Blair, at the DRE Group. Mr. Smooth (Trason) asks her out to lunch, but he barely gets the invitation out before one of his supervisors reminds him to stay focused on business, not pleasure. The truth is there is always a time and a place for everything. This is exactly why you usually do not mix business with pleasure, but this is without a doubt not always the case when you’ve got your priorities straight. Trason agrees to show more than just his player side. (Holler!) Hopefully his meet and greet with Blair turns into something special because he truly deserves somebody good in his life.

Gerren talks to her mom about altercation with Tyler at the beach. Gerren admits to knocking Tyler’s hat off her head, and Gerren’s mom is not amused. We all know that even when we aren’t trying to hear our parents out, they only want and mean the best for us. Gerren may not have been trying to listen, but I know she complied because as hardheaded as she can be, she’s a smart girl.

Celibacy is nothing new in Moriah’s life since he made this decision to stay committed to God on his very own. I quite frankly admire Mo’ for being so disciplined because it takes a real man to do such a thing. He has a strong will. In this day and age, such a thing is virtually rare and special. Kenny on the other hand with such comments, concerns and beliefs just comes off as a typical teenage boy.

Questions or concerns? You know what to do. Speak now or forever hold your peace. Once again, we all appreciate all of your questions, and concerns. Feel free to speak your mind. Good looking out on keeping it locked. Stay tuned.
Sincerely yours,

Seiko

It’s So Hard to Say Good-bye to Yesterday

February 11th, 2009

fb_bh304_seiko.jpg

It was no easy task persuading Staci to get out of the house. It’s all good considering everything she had been through, but a girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do. Good friends don’t let each other down, so I did my part to make sure Staci was on the road to progression. I had to reassure her everything would be alright, and that discussing what happened would be healthy. It took some convincing, but after spending some quality time together at the park, it was in the bag.

My boy Trason gets his BIG break and meets with the board of the DRE group for young entrepreneurs. He is definitely pleased when they accept him into the group. (You go boy!) Gerren decides to take matters into her own hands and seeks more advice, this time from Chasen’s father, about launching her own T-shirt line.

Tyler’s mom tells her to talk to Gerren about the situation, since the chemistry between Tyler and Mo’ is becoming more serious. But, what is there really to discuss?

Like I said, “good friends” don’t let each other down. (This relationship is officially over if you ask me.) Tyler was wrong flat out, and she couldn’t even be the bigger person, which makes her seem even more immature, especially when she takes it unnecessarily too far with Gerren. That was simply uncalled for.

Double Date Disaster

February 4th, 2009

fb_bh_303_seikokenny.jpg

Nothing is more beautiful than a love interest shared and ready to blossom. Believe it or not, I saw it all coming. I can’t say I don’t like to toot my own horn when I am right so, (“toot toot”) I told you, Justin! At least the both of us didn’t get the short end of the stick, is all I can honestly say. As for that kiss, stay tuned to see where it all goes. You may be surprised because some things are not always what they may seem; mosaic.

As for Moriah and Tyler, sparks immediately fly when these two are around each other, and it‘s only a matter of time before they get up close and personal. Nevertheless, I still say you shouldn’t go catching feelings for your friend’s ex, regardless of the circumstances, and vice versa. Then again, everybody loves Moriah… It’s like his God-given right. Got to love him. At least Gerren knows what kind of friend Tyler is. Better late than never.

Progression is the key to happiness when subjected to an unwanted standstill. Staci began to distance herself during her pregnancy, which is understandable because I could only imagine what she was going through, mind, body and soul. She finally opened up, but my main concern is what she opens up about. I was hoping it wouldn’t be this bad, but I was wrong.

My girl Gerren stays on her grind with her mind on the prize. It came as no surprise when the veteran fashion model decided that she wanted to start her own line. She has always wanted to do something independently, so it was finally time to quit talking about it and be about it. With the help of Etienne’s friend Chasen, her dream is finally coming true. She did that!

So, I go out on what I like to call an “outing,” because in no way, shape or form was it a date, at least not in my opinion or eyes. It was more like… BET’s “Hell Date,” if you ask me. Anyway, Kenny and I accompanied Justin and Aysia on their date. We went to the beach to go kayaking, something I actually would have enjoyed since I used to go in the summers in Big Bear when I was little, but everything kind of went downhill shortly after the trip even began. Kenny breaks the No. 1 rule of rules that every man should know when dealing with a woman. It was definitely on and poppin’ after that, and there was no turning back. All the while Justin and Aysia without a doubt hit it off, and I am truly happy some good came of the whole day. Aysia even shares some private news with Justin about her aunt, and he in return tells her something about his father.

‘Love Is Definitely in the Air’

January 29th, 2009

tylermoriah.jpg

trasonaunjel.jpg

On a personal note, I couldn’t be more proud of my boy Justin handling his business and getting exactly what he’s always wanted, a deal (Sony). He (and his writing team) definitely put in the hard work and dedication necessary to get the job done. When Kassidy is old enough to understand how things work, I know she too, will look up to him and be very happy to have such a remarkable father. I pray Justin and his father get it together for the sake of him, Kassidy and the rest of the family.

Aunjel was geeked at the simple mention of “Tray’s” name. (It was too cute.) Quality time getting to know one another is key if Aunjel and Trason are trying to get personal. Trason is a gentleman, but he is a couple years older than Aunjel, so I wouldn’t suggest trying to move too fast, especially given the guidelines Aunjel follows. I sure do hope they work it out because they seem to both share an interest and a soft spot for one another. Hopefully they can make each other happy. Only time will tell. Love is definitely in the air because Aysia expresses her feelings towards Justin. Let’s see where this connection goes and hope for the best. Justin deserves a good woman and Aysia seems like a great candidate. Plus, Justin seems to share a soft spot for her as well.

Kenny, like a lot of other immature young men, is on front street when it comes to the ladies. But, if you’re not in it to win it, then you shouldn’t be in the game at all. It was probably best that he and his girlfriend ended things because they didn’t seem to be too into each other anyway. You’re supposed to make your significant others better and make them happy, not be unenthusiastic at the thought of seeing them.

Moms always know what’s best, and Gerren’s mom always has her back regardless of the situation or if she wants to hear it. She always has her best interest at heart. It goes without saying that friends do not date, fornicate, or even think about having relations with their friends’ exes. It’s written in the book of rules and shall forever remain. Doing so anyway doesn’t do or say much positive for a person’s character or judgment, because it’s simply never that serious. Sometimes, we can’t help how we feel because we all get lost in the sauce every now and again. But what we choose to do, and the journey getting there determines whether or not we made the right choices. No man is worth losing a friend over, especially since Gerren expressed her feelings about Tyler’s interest in Moriah. That should have automatically given Tyler the red light on top of the golden rule. Moriah is off limits, and he should have stayed that way, period. Thank God Etienne came through right on time. God does work in mysterious ways. Speaking of which, hopefully the drama between Gerren and Aunjel has finally simmered down.

Dreams don’t always materialize exactly as they appear, but I take everything in my life, consider each and every thing then try to make the best decision possible to better myself. Getting baptized was something I have always wanted to do, but never got around to doing. But, it was way overdue. Justin was the ideal person to take the big step with, especially since he hadn’t been baptized either, and I couldn’t have asked for a better friend.

We all disobey our parents at one point or another, but there is an action and reaction to everything. Gerren looked really happy with her new boo, and if she’s happy, then I am also. Kenny is a cool dude, but it all seemed like an act, and it was time to put him to the test. I decided to pull his player card and take one for the team. Everything that he seemed to be about went right out the window after he failed remarkably. Take my word when I say the kiss didn’t mean anything. It doesn’t say much about a person, especially a young man, when he doesn’t respect or obey his mother’s wishes.
