‘I Could Feel the Love’

August 21st, 2008

bh2_ep9_seiko.JPG

“It’s so hard … to say goodbye to yesterday.” Reminiscing over old memories is good for the soul. Aunjel and Lor’Rena may have run their last track meet together, but they have years under their belts. The two of them will be just fine. I definitely know that regardless of Aunjel going off to school, Lor’Rena will still have her sister by her side. Ashley is to begin a new chapter of her life in Atlanta at Spelman. I couldn’t be more proud of Ashley for getting through her high school career. Home is where the heart is. I’m sure Ashley won’t be forgetting where she comes from, especially with her mother’s help. They’ve got a really special relationship with one another. Congratulations, Ashley.

People are always naturally attracted to Gerren, whether it’s the good, bad or the ugly. I’m just happy that there wasn’t any extreme drama at the pool party. Everyone seemed to pretty much get along. I was proud of both Lor’Rena and Gerren for deciding to put their differences aside. Women should never fight over a man.

Sal has had his eye on Staci for a minute. I was wondering when he would build up enough courage to say something. It wasn’t too hard to notice her stomach at the pool party, especially considering we were all in our swim suits. I completely understand where she was coming from when she denied being pregnant, but her facial expression told it all. It’s nice that Staci’s mother shows Staci all the love and support she needs through these tough times. I’m ecstatic that my girl is having a baby boy. At least that’s less drama for his momma.

I truly commend Justin for being able to step up and find it in his heart to forgive his father. That takes a real man. I am happy he found it within himself to look past his father’s flaws. After all, we all have them. It only took a second to get the two close and for an immediate connection to take over. I could feel the love. Justin has every right to be angry with his father, but finding forgiveness can bring peace. Actions speak much louder than words. I just hope Justin’s father follows through, for the love of better.

Forgiveness: Easier Said Than Done

August 21st, 2008

bh2_ep10_fb_kassidy_justin.JPGbh2_ep9_teenee.JPGbh2_ep9_gerren1.JPG

Gerren did that. She definitely pulled it together for the premiere & did an over-the-top job. You go girl!

Justin stays playing daddy, but hey. . . After all, that is his j-o-b. He definitely has a way with words and a gift for putting things into perspective. Sometimes the best advice is given through experience. He and I definitely have that in common. I’m happy he puts his learned lessons to good use. Knowledge is power. I think Gerren got the big picture, but I can’t say that I don’t feel her on wanting her cake and eating it too.

A lot of people came out to show Gerren their love and support, even Roqui who’s home from college. I volunteered and helped G out a little with some edibles. We kind of killed two birds with one stone (not literally). It all worked out for the both of us. I definitely had lots of fun with the event. Staci topped it off by not only offering her help, but coming through and really assisting me. She’s what a true friend is all about. Not to mention, we’ve got a baby on the way. Holler!

bh2_ep9_teenee.JPGForgiveness is a sensitive and serious subject, especially when somebody’s life has immensely been affected. I can’t be mad at Tee’Nee for feeling the way she does because the truth of the matter is, her baby won’t have her father around, and she can’t have her man. Being able to find it in your heart to forgive someone really isn’t only for the offender, but most importantly for you to find peace within yourself. Holding on to such anguish can tear you apart inside if you allow it to. Forgiveness is without a doubt easier said than done, but it has to be done to be able to roll forward. I feel Tee’Nee’s father did a great job at advising his daughter. I just hope she can take what he and Johnathan suggested and use it for the better. Hopefully the Forgiveness Walk helped.

bh2_ep10_fb_kassidy_justin.JPGJustin is such a strong and dear person. He’s done wonders with Kassidy & the community. Not to mention, he is a child of God and works daily along side the church. You would never even guess that deep down, he’s got his own battle to fight … with his father. Truly, I hope Justin finds the tranquility, courage & strength he needs to get through this ongoing battle with his father. I wish him the forgiveness in his heart he longs for and deserves. I love you, Justin. You got this.

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.

August 14th, 2008

bh2_fb_ep208_meanmug.jpg

Somebody is on front street! Lor’Rena may not be in love, but she’s clearly in like. The kiss was the icing on the cake. I was just as surprised as Aunjel when Lor’Rena decided to go out with Johnathan, especially to his prom & considering his outing with Ashley. But all is fair in love & war. Besides, I still strongly feel as if Ashley didn’t have a connection with Johnathan at all. So, it’s all good. As long as everybody is respectful to one another, everything should be alright.

Actions speak louder than words. I feel as if Johnathan had a great time, but was maybe expecting more. It was prom, but he should’ve considered all of that before asking Lor’Rena. It’s not her fault. She must not have been that much of a disappointment if he’s taking her out on a second date. (LOL) The thought of Lor’Rena & Lala out together  — or even in the same vicinity — scares me. That was interesting. Hopefully they will work out their differences. It gets like that sometimes. I’m happy they decided to be cordial with one another. It was nice to see the both of them put their issues with one another aside & be the bigger person about the situation. I especially commend Lor’Rena because Lala sort of picked on her a little. As far as Johnathan & Lala blowing kisses at each other; thirsty. That was so unnecessary, and I was appalled. I’m all about sharing the love, but not like that.

I know it took a lot of courage for Mo’ to be able to come to his mother about his feelings towards attending UCLA & even more assertiveness for him to go to his father, especially considering his dad & brothers all attended. It would only make complete sense & be right if Moriah carries on his father’s legacy by wearing jersey No. 54. I love & admire Moriah that much more for being able to discuss & express his true feelings with his father. It takes a real man to be able to handle such a situation. I am happy that he got through it. You go,
Mo’!

“Well we’re movin’ on up…!” (The Jefferson’s Theme Song) That’s what I hear when I think about my girl Staci & her man, Kevin moving out of his mother’s house. I couldn’t be more ecstatic. She deserves the change of scenery & Kevin needed to give it to her. I am glad everything worked out. As for Staci letting Kevin know about the baby, that will always remain a touchy subject, but I feel as if she did a great job. He on the other hand didn’t act accordingly. Kevin could have handled the news a little differently & made the whole baby deal not as hard on Staci. At the end of the day, it’s Staci who ultimately has to choose & make the right choices, but it does take two.

Johnathan’s Living Life, Is Staci Expecting One?

August 6th, 2008

bh2_fb_ep7_question.JPG

I knew Johnathan had a soft spot for Lor’Rena. (LOL) I’m happy he got enough courage to ask her to his senior prom. I always tell people to take whoever you think you’ll have the most fun with, so I think he made a good choice. He stays geeked whenever she’s around. It’s kind of cute.

I wish he hadn’t taken his player “Live Life” advice tryna’ holler at friends though. That’s a no, no!  He could have gotten to know Ashley & Lor’Rena first before making moves. Sometimes that can get messy and separate friends, but I guess that’s just the way it goes sometimes. We can’t always help what or who we feel.

I don’t think Ashley was too touched about the whole situation with Johnathan & Lor’Rena, so I guess it all worked out for the best. She and Johnathan weren’t each other’s type. Plus, she’s got Spelman this fall to think about. It wouldn’t have necessarily been the best move, especially with him staying out here to attend UCLA.

Johnathan is blessed to have such a great family on his side. You could just see and feel the love. It’s great to see people who care go all out for you, and what better time than prom. The cars, clothes, money, and. . . Well, you get the picture! (LOL)

They hooked him all the way up. To top it all off, receiving his grandfather’s watch was the beginning of a beautiful night.

Despite Lor’Rena being a tad bit tardy, I’m sure they won’t have trouble enjoying themselves. It gets like that sometimes. Clearly it was all well worth waiting for. (8-D) Holler!

I couldn’t be more proud of my girl Staci for handling business and getting on her grind. She did exactly what she set out to do. I’m not mad at that at all. I couldn’t be more proud of her. But, all of that “sick” talk is giving me the butterflies. (:/) God works in mysterious ways. I support whatever happens, and the decisions she decides to make. I love her. Either way it goes. That’s my friend until the end.
I hope you all enjoyed the episode. Thank you for taking the time to follow up on the blog…until next time, this is your girl Seiko logging OUT. Holler. [:

‘I jus’ want someone that will make me happy.’

July 18th, 2008

bh2_ep3_dinner2.jpg

Due to the drama I got myself in trying to have more than one girl, I can’t agree with my boy Johnathan.  Having more than one girl one leads to hearts being broken. I’ll jus’ say a woman scorned is not a good thing. Also, karma ain’t nice and is not gonna show any mercy when it comes for you.  But, hey, if everyone is being honest and is okay with what’s goin on then, so be it.

I’m proud of my girl Staci on her grind. With the economy being how it is, it’s tough trying to find a job nowadays. Ain’t nothing sexier than a girl on her hustle. Keep it up, Staci!

I really don’t know what to say about the comment Seiko made; although, I understand where she’s coming from. So, I can see why she feels that way.  I’m not looking for another mother for my daughter. She already has a great mother that is doing a beyond great job.  To keep it real, I jus’ want someone that will make me happy and in return I do the same.

That was kinda weak that Lor’Rena tricked Mo into going to Sal’s house for a party, and it ended up being a date. LOL. Funny huh?

Lor’Rena is a homie, so I’m not gonna go too hard on her but come on. LOL. She is a beautiful girl, and she doesn’t need to do stuff like that to get a dude.  ‘Cause if it takes a lie to get someone to go out with u, then most likely they don’t wanna b there… I’ll leave it at that.

That’s Los Angeles for Ya

July 17th, 2008

bh2_ep3_moriah.jpg

My mom had a talk with me, and I listened, but probably not well enough since I kind of went off on Moriah at church. That’s because I was frustrated because he doesn’t comprehend anything. He really acts like my little brother. The service was good though.

It came by suprise when Staci said she didn.t like me because I thought we were cool. Then for her to come ask me for advice … that’s kind of fake to me. That’s Los Angeles for ya.

Moriah has nerve calling me “thristy” when he said I’m the one who left, acting all sad. I was just making sure his life was going well.

I think Seiko and Justin will make a cute couple. They kind of remind me of each other. I thought the “Birthday Party” was hilarious. That was my favorite scene.

The Father, the brothers and Dad

July 10th, 2008

bh2_fb_ep2_justinsgroup.jpg

First, I gotta shout out my BROS from B.L.O.C.K.-P. (Brothers Living On Christ Keeping Power). I’m proud of all ya’ll, and I know it is hard out  here as young men living for Christ, but God will make a way and remember: “only what you do for Christ will last.”

I know a lot people out there are having father issues, and it’s hard to admit it, but those issues are the reason we act certain ways.  I’m not gonna go too deep into that that right now. Yo , I really wish everyone could have been at that service.  For those who don’t know that church was TAKEOVER.  Which is in Inglewood every 2nd & 4th Sunday at the Tabernacle and Kirk Franklin is the pastor. So if u are in L.A. and need a church home, please come.  It’s one of the greatest experiences having all those young people who love GOD in the same place at one time praising.

And I’m sorry I gotta address this on behalf of myself and the cast.  The fake pages GOTTA stop.  Me myself,  I ONLY( I repeat ONLY) have two pages on the Internet. My MYSPACE is { myspace.com/tiktakfresh } and I gotta Facebook. That’s it.  I’m sorry to all the people that  were friends to the fake pages, and I apologize for anything and everything disrespectful they may or may not have said. LOL.

Aunjel just informed me to tell ya’ll on her behalf, “BIG UP TO ALL HER HATERS”.

Justin’s Take on the ‘Go Getta’ Girls

July 10th, 2008

lorrena_gerren.jpg

Soooooo, where the heck do I start?  My lil’ sis Gerren has to be one of the most ambitious young women I know.  When she wants something, she goes for it, which is gonna make her a star. I don’t agree with her tactics when dealing with the lil’ homie Mo, but I’ll have to have a one-on-one with her one day and talk to her about that.

Lor’Rena and Aunjel really have wonderful personalities, but they have the same GO GETTA mentality as Gerren which is why I think they bump heads.  They are tryin’ to Go Get the same thing: Mo.

My first time meeting Sal and Johnathan was cool. On- and off-set they are hilarious.   Now as for Seiko I did ask her out (not on a date, but and outing). She is really down to earth and is great to talk to and is lowkey funny, so I’m gonna leave it at that…lol
