WTF????? I as a fan would have love to see Chris Brown do a tribute for MJ
that would have been nice. We can’t keep brining Chris Brown down, because Jay said so. I can’t wait to see the MTV Music Awards, at least they care about us (the fans), and I bet Jay-Z can’t try nothing.
BET that was a bad move, you lost me and I am sure alot of other people too. So sad.

I feel like BET is giving Jay -Z to much power. Chris Brown has suffered enough. He should have been able to send his tribute to Michael Jackson as well as everyone else. Yes, the kid was wrong, but everyone makes mistakes and must be forgiven. I am sure he was very badly hurt. Everyone knows how much Michael Jackson meant to Chris Brown. I am very sadden to know that BET would allow something like this to happen. Who would represent Michael Jackson but than Chris Brown, Usher Ramon, and Justin T. I am a huge Jay-Z and Beyonce fan, but I feel like that was just wrong.

I thought Jigga’s performance was good.I would’ve liked to have seen Chris Brown,but i understand Jigga’s stance.If some dude beat your sister up would he ever be cool with you?Would you say”Oh,he’s suffered enough.”?Sometimes people can be blind when it comes to celebrities.Chris Brown will redeem himself in due time.His career is far from over.

Chris Brown should of been able to do his contribution to Michael Jackson.
I also blame Debra Lee at BET. JAY Z does not have that kind of power. I am sure she has some family or some close friends who were involved in some domestic violence when they were young. Chris and Riahnna (not sure if spelled correctly) are young. This will pass. He has suffered enough.

I think Jay Z sucks and I don’t think it’s right that Chris brown was not allowed to perform. Hes human and people make mistakes. Hes an excellent performer compared to Jay Z. I really wished they had reconsidered. I think very highly of BET but I hope they don’t make this mistake again.

I love JayZ…however this latest power play on his part will stop me from supporting him in the future. Chris Brown should have allowed to perform if BET really wanted to provide a tribute to MJ. None other could have provided the moves. BET you messed up BAD and Debra Lee its time to GO..

Chris Brown should have been able to perform Period! He’s more MJ than Jay Z could and ever will be. Don’t get me wrong, Jay is one of the best, but Chris Brown is an ARTIST too… Who also loved MJ. What’s between Chris and his girlfriend should stay between him and his girlfriend and the law. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with entertainment! I’m so sick of it!!! The show was great minus those who felt it was appropriate to act with such ignorance, which I’m sure was provoked by the alcohol… Cause I know every one of them who acted like fools, even Jamie, knew better. Their families did not raise them that way or they wouldn’t be where they are today. BET worked extremely hard to create a tribute to the Jackson family and an opportunity to reflect on the life and career of our own… Michael Jackson! I’m very disappointed in those artist who displayed the kind of ignorance that they did… Cursing and acting a fool on stage getting ready to fight and all that. They could have saved that kind of stuff for the MTV awards! I’ve said my peace.

I think that you all are reading WAY too much into this situation. Do you REALLY think that Jay-Z has the power to keep C.B. off the stage if BET wanted him? Get real, BET didn’t want to face the potential backlash so they scratch C.B. Period!!

I thought that beyonce did a good job and so did jay-z. oh and jamie foxx was funny as ever with those tight pants on. But, over all I loved how they dedicated the show to Michael Jackson[Rest in peace} and it was a good show.

Do you remember when we were (KIDZ!) and someone hurt your baby sister at school and you got back at that person by telling all the other KIDZ not to talk,look or play with that person, well in this scenario the first (KID) is JAY-Z who told the other (KID) Debra Lee to not play with Chris Brown because he hurt my lil sis. I am Appauled, I thought this this tribute was about Michael Jackson and he (Michael Jackson) would not appreciate this childish behavior. I GUEST FAME MONEY CAN MAKE SOME INDIVIDUALS FORGET WHAT’S IMPORTANT AT TIMES. REMEBER JUST PRAY FOR ALL OF US WE ARE NOT PERFECT.

1st Beyonce performace was disrespectful and showed how ignorant she is. She wouldn’t be in the position she is in if it wasn’t for Michael Jackson and the countless number of entertainers before her. If she was going to sing that song she should have had MJ pictures showed constantly during her boring performance. This was supposed to be a tribute to MIchael Jackson, obviously everyone got the memo except Jayz & Beyonce. Due to their antics I wont purchase or watch anything they are involved in.

It is sad that Chris was not able to perform, however, JAY Z was awesome! I love him to life, as well as Chris. And yes Chris is human and there is but one perfect man that walked this earth who was tempted but sinned not! We need to love on Chris and pray that the abuse demon dies and no longer reside in him and that he can continue to be a man destined for greatness and that this will not be in vain but, to help some other person. Love you all my brothers and sisters!

Jay Z was a hot mess. If they allowed Don C to speak then Chris should have been able to perform.

I thought that Jay-Z’s performance sucked. I would have much rather saw Chris Brown doing a tribute to MJ than that mess.

I think Jay-Z perfomrance suck…Beyonce should have done a up beat song…I love angels…but I didn’t like her outfit…I just didn’t get? And the the overall show was O.K. not great…BET please get it together…I will always support BET but this show was something I wouldn’t watch again…please don’t replay it too much…PLEASE!!! I think BET should still do another show just for MJ…That would be great…& allow Chris Brown to participate…

I dont think that JayZ should have performed the song that he did. I mean COME ON PEOPLE!!! …. “D.O.A”….. isnt that a bit disrespectful to the recently deceased MJ?!?!? SHow sum kind of respect! when have you really seen JayZ do ANYTHING on behalf of MJ? not that I can remember… on the other hand… Chris Brown dedicated his dancing to none other than the KING of POP…. it is wrong that BET would do some shady a$$ stuff as to keep CB out of the tribute.
