are you people crazy? calling Chria B the modern Michael Jackson!! Come on now he is a good singer and dancer, but he is not going to be an icon, he just doesnt have it… If anything Beyonce is the female version of Michael Jackson, she has such raw talent. She didnt even dance this year and she made every1 take notice, Chris B just can not do that.

I am so disappointed in the BET awards. The opening was horrible. That was the worst singing tribute I have ever witnessed. Everything was thrown together. How could you honor such a great man in an awful way. Jay Z’s performance was to me (wrong song at the wrong time). I didn’t realy care for the cursing and the negativity. Our people are smart, strong, beautiful, talented, etc……. That show just looked very stereo type. I didn’t see any class about it. Michael Jackson was a very sweet, gracious, and kind person. I don’t think he would have liked any of the performances EXCEPT for Neyo’s solo performance and Neyo and Jamie. These ghetto stereo type shows that are coming make me so sad. Realy??? Frankie and Nephie??? Tiny and ???Realy??? We are way better than that BET. I don’t even know what that means anymore. God bless Michael’s family and I thank the Lord for sharing His precious gift with us. I love all my bros and sis’s God bless you all. BET please do better.

At the end of the day Jay-Z, Al Sharpton and Beyonce need to cool down. Because after looking at MJ (who has gone to soon) you can be gone in a heart beat. So while he and his wife think they are the be it and end it all they must first remember they are humans just like everyone else. Beyonce the Ave Maria is not to be sung half naked what disrespect. Everybody already no what you look like half naked in your videos, this is a tribute to MJ it is not about You. So keeping Chris Brown from the tribute and adding Jay-Z with the distasteful sonag and Beyonce with her diserespectful attire does not justify a good show. It was a spectacle. It seems like Jay-Z and Beyonce own BET no wonder why she gets awards she don’t deserve, no wonder why a lot of artisits boycott the BET awards. As for Al sharpton you need to remove the title REV from your name because once again you have shown your judgements to be that less of a man of the cloth or are you. Do you think Mj would appreciate all of these actions? Did anybosy really hear Chris side of the story? I am not saying he was right but REV Al, Jay-Z and Beyonce “He who is without sin cast the first stone” What a tribute.
People where is our true tribute to our legend, let us ignore the circus clowns and concentrate on remembering our “King of Pop”

See this is the reason why I don’t watch the BET Awards. This was about Michael Jackson not Jay-Z who gave that man that much power? This wasn’t about Chris and Rihanna yeah hit did wrong but that wasn’t the point. On top of that Rihanna wasn’t even at the awards so what is the big deal. Jay-z made it about him Chris should have been allowed to perform on the show. The show was terrible to begin with and I think that BET should have done a seperate show for Michael rather than throw that mess they called a show on Sunday. I turned the show off after an hour I was so upset on how they put it together. MTV would have done a better job. I know I wont watch the BET Awards again.

I thought that BET Should have Let Chris Brown Perform as well .. however Jayz and Beyonce didnt do no songs to tribute to MJ they was all bout themselfs in this awards show and it shows selfishness.. boo.. and I had just went to see Beyonce in greensboro that saturday and she performed the same thing she did there at the awards show come on B do something unique for MJ. the damn Concert Started Late as well was pissed bout that..

I think the Jackson family might get hurt seeing Chris Brown dance better than Micheal Jackson, or remind them of him. And knowing that he went threw a court battle very similar to that of Micheal Jackson. If Chris Brown was there, the Media would just focus on him. Jay Z performance was wack! and I really never cared for his music anyway! They should have let Chris Brown perform and have the whole crowd in unforgettable tears in memory of THE KING OF POP!
