Yes BET did give Jay Z too much power with that statement, pull you and your wife out jay the awards would have been great without both performances anyway. First off, Jay z needs to stay retired no one was even into his performance, and beyonce looked a mess with those black roots showing and that pebbles from the flintstones out fit on the red carpet. Who died and left them king and queen. Chris Brown would have been the best performance for the night doing MJ.

So, let me get this straight, we’re pissed because Chris Brown couldn’t get on stage to imitate MJ on his dance moves and make a song? That’s exactly what Chris Brown would’ve done. Not to say that Jay-z and Bey’s performance was amazing, but Chris Brown is no way a better artist than Jay-z or Bey, maybe an entertainer and that’s the only reason he’d probably would of made a “amazing” tribute to Micheal Jackson. FIRST OF ALL THE BET AWARDS OF 2009 WAS UNPROFESSIONAL, SLOPPY, HORRIBLE AS WELL AS A DISGRACE TO MICHEAL JACKSON, & I PERSONALLY PITY THE WHOLE BET INC. IT WAS A HOT MESS, AND MICHEAL JACKSON WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SATISFIED WITH THAT. Jay and Bey are too selfish ass arrogant people. And this comes from a former Jay-Z and Beyonce fan. I use to defend them all the time but not this time. I know Jay-Z pulled Chris Brown from the show because of his actions at the BET awards. He didn’t even do a tribute to MJ neither did B. They used the record number of viewers that night to promote themselves.It showed me that they were not there to pay homage to MJ.

I love Jay Z regardless. The BET Awards was a huge disappointment, real nice and WHACK, especially the pre-show. I really thought BET would have back to back songs of MJ but I guess not. Terrible show and BET should not be proud of the hot mess of performances. Yeah, BET probably thought Chris Brown was not appropriate for the show but what about USHER? The show should of been filled with MJ tributes …. Shame on you BET. There is NO modern Michael Jackson, if C Breezy kept his hands to himself then maybe he would have been up there. No one can come close in quality of music, dance ability, and sheer artistic style no matter how good they can mimic MJ. I can find 5 people in my city that can do what Chris Brown can do. Get that mess on somewhere.
