Rumor has it Drake has tore ACL. I guess that explains why he sat on a stool the entire time of his performance and looked like Wheelchair Jimmy of Degrassi.

Technically, that could be interpreted as a homage to that MJ performance of “Remember The Time” from the Soul Train awards many moons ago, but at least pose for the frame in your seat or something.

Be energetic, we don’t want to see you sit there as Lil’ Wayne stumbles around waiting to recite the hook.

Then again, Sherri Shepherd was spotted singing “Every Girl” word for word, and I saw somebody’s mama rapping along to Baby so I suppose there’s no problem among the crowd.

Speaking of mama’s, Toya, a few folks are mad at you for letting your kid be on stage during a song about knocking down every girl on Earth.

Get up and bask in Maxwell’s vocal ability before he takes another 7-year sabbatical and we’re left with a bunch of cough drop needing pseudo singers.

As you can see I’m a bit of a stan. But eagerness aside, am I the only one who loved that performance?

Though I enjoyed The O’Jays’ performance, the older folk in the crowd were losing their minds, I guess if you’re 45 and up this is your very own stanky legg.

But the man still has it! Next year can we get him to do “Come and Talk To Me?” I’ll even chip in on his flight. You know, if he doesn’t mind flying stand by.

Speaking of those with it, Johnny Gill never ever sounds bad. He, Tyrese, and Trey Songz did the O’Jays justice.

I love Jay-Z’s “D.O.A.” so much I want T-Pain, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, and Lil’ Wayne to make an Auto-Tune remix of it.

I do like the song, and his performance was dope, but I heard “Every Girl” on the radio on the way here. Hummed Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” as I walk into the Shrine, and danced to Jamie Foxx less than an hour ago.

Respect, Hov, but it’s so hard to let Auto-Tune go when I want one for Christmas.

How good is it to see women on stage who don’t sing like Ursula The Sea Witch stole their vocal chords.

Ne-Yo, Jamie, and Fab did their thing, but I was more into the time machine Ne-Yo took us to.

I feel like I haven’t seen Keith Sweat since Athena Cage was around singing about what she liked.

It’s good to see artists who can come back out of what seems like no where and perform at the same level they always have.

Same for one my second group ever, Guy. I still listen to them. Just last week I was in the gym dancing to “Groove Me.” Almost broke a toe, but that’s OK.

Of course, BBD killed and Ronnie DeVoe still seems to never age. So far Ne-Yo’s New Jack Swing set has been my favorite performance thus fa
