YOU THINK YOU KNOW, BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA…

finale.JPGOur experience in the Windy City was, and will forever be, a memorable one – the good days along with the bad.  Like any reality show, the true dynamics of its cast is never really highlighted. So, for my final episodic blog, meet the REAL cast of CHI-Chicago…

Jenna – She is probably the loudest person I’ve ever met, but she has a heart of gold, and she and Spencer were able to work out their differences in Chicago.

Tationna – Despite our minor differences, she is an intelligent young woman with a school-girl essence that makes her easy to talk to.

Kasheef – Is fine as HELL and has great leadership skills and the swagger of a Greek God. LOL.

Marc – Is the sweetest man I have ever met, the type of guy you’d take home to meet your momma after the first day y’all meet.

Spencer – He’s one of the most creative people I’ve met – you have to be able to work a blue suit, blue gator shoes, and a silk blue tie simultaneously. LOL.

Lonnie – Aw man, he is one of the funniest people I know.  There were too many times in the house when he had everyone in tears from laughter.

Kathy – Is so talented, a singer, poet, and diva savant….

And me – well I’m far from quiet. I’m an entrepreneur, entertainment personality, publicist, event coordinator, dancer, actress and the list goes on. You can meet me and the cast as we continue to support the HIV/AIDS awareness efforts, on Fri. Dec. 14 at Studio Inc, 3603 W. Waters Ave, in Tampa, Fla. for the annual Immaculate & Mature event hosted by yours truly!

TAKE IT OFF!!!!!!

stripper.jpgFirst, let’s talk about this stripper. It’s Jenna’s birthday, we’re in Chicago, and we just went through one of the most hellacious — in terms of stress — weeks of our lives. Jenna’s birthday was a perfect excuse to get loose and unwind. I have to give the stripper his props. He was one of the most skillful “gymnast” that I have ever seen. He bent muscles on his body that I didn’t even realize men had. The probably would have gotten crazier if he didn’t come into the house looking like a lost member of the Zulu tribe. LOL.

And the drama continues for Ms. Jenna. In her defense, Jenna really took to heart the advice Dr. Ian gave her, maybe a little too hard. She took a back seat on the Yaris ad project, which made it easier for her to be distracted by Marc. Do you think Jenna made the right decision? Should her teammates have been more understanding? You tell me.

YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK…GOOD BYE!

ontv_chi_bb_letia_112707.JPG

Saying goodbye to not only one — but two — Blue Team members was very hard. Personally, I felt that out of all the girls in the house I was closer to Tia because I talked to her more. She was real, had a great head on her shoulders and didn’t play any games. Maurice was my roommate and team mate. He was the first person in the house that I opened up to about anything personal. In retrospect, the entire house had a feeling that Tia was going home. She mentioned that she wanted to go home a couple of times already, but Maurice, on the other hand, was a complete shock. He did so much work during the Rap It Up campaign and had so much passion in everything that he did, including the ladies. LOL. I guess your greatest passion can also be your greatest downfall.

Did Dr. Ian make the right decisions? Who do you think should have gone home? Will there be another elimination? Should there be? You tell me!

EXTRA, EXTRA, LONNIE TAKES HANGOVER CROWN FROM KASHEEF….SO NOW WHO’S GOING HOME?

lonnie.JPG

They say breaking up is hard to do, but in Lonnie’s case, waking up was hard to do. LOL.  After Kasheef’s little incident by the toilet bowl, Lonnie had a lot of jokes to crack. Little did he know, he was next in line to make nice with the commode. Kasheef turned into dead weight when he was drunk, and Lonnie had two trucks collide in his throat.  Kasheef was able to wake up in time to meet up with Dr. Ian, but Lonnie slept through the entire Habitat for Humanity project.  Then, when we came back from Habitat for Humanity, Lonnie felt all better, and he and Kasheef went out to get tatted up.

Keep in mind, evaluations are the next day.  Between Lonnie’s hangover, which caused him to miss the community service project, and Jenna and Spencer’s constant bickering, who do you think is going home?

LET’S TALK ABOUT SEX, BABY; LET’S TALK ABOUT KATHY & KASHEEF…

ontv_chi_sab_video_ep5.JPGDespite the drama and the tension that preparing for the Rap-It-Up campaign may have caused, we were glad that, collectively, we raised a lot of money. But we were even more excited that we could now go back to being roommates, instead of competitors, at least for the time being.

Kathy, Kathy, Kathy…we all questioned Kathy’s lesbianism for a while.  She paraded around the house proclaiming to be a full-on lesbian, but she would always get caught flirting with guys, especially Kasheef.  She was even caught in the bathroom one night with a guy. She said nothing happened, but I’ll let you be the judge. I had front-row seats during the whole Kathy and Kasheef sex-capade. In fact, I helped encourage it.  I knew that Kathy couldn’t resist, and I wanted to see if her ego would allow her to admit that maybe, just maybe, she was a bit confused about her sexual preference. Kasheef is sexy, but was it enough to turn a lesbian straight? Do you think Kathy is a lesbian, bi-sexual, straight or just confused?  Does it even matter?  You tell me.

Time to Separate the WOMEN from the GIRLS and the Men from the Boys!

0040.JPGEveryone wants to know the dirt behind the argument between Tati and me.  The house has one telephone, no voice mail, no caller I.D. and there are 10 people trying to use it all at once.  When you’re in the phone booth, you better make all of your calls because chances are you won’t be able to contact your sponsors for another hour or two.  In my opinion Tationna could have been more patient and had better control of her temper. This is business, not a game.  She hung up on one of our sponsors and that’s extremely disrespectful. Now, a telephone could have easily turned into a shoe, like “College Hill 4,” but as we all learned, violence doesn’t solve anything.   How would you have handled the situation?

Maurice and Marc, now that was a bunch of unnecessary drama. Maurice was upset, but not at Marc. He was more upset at the girls who are always making things bigger than they really are.  Maurice and I were talking upstairs, and the girls kept putting salt on the wound. So Maurice threw the stick to shut them up, not to hit Marc, but things just blew up from there.

Do you think Maurice’s actions were called for?

THERE’S NOTHING LIKE LOVE AT FIRST FIGHT?

ontv_chi_bb_maurice_tati.JPGTationna and Maurice had the weirdest relationship.  Every night, they would play She Loves Me; He Loves Me Not.  They’d chase each other around the house expressing what they like and don’t like in a relationship. Then the next day Maurice would be on the phone with another girl.  At night, it would be back to playing Chase Tati Around the House.  From what I understood, ALL the girls (except for me) were in a relationship. That’s what I’d heard the first day we all met, and now folks are single?  Seems to me like the relationship may have been more for show. What’s your take on it?

And one time before the constant arguing between Jenna and Spencer, Spencer told me that he actually liked Jenna and that she was the prettiest girl in the house.  I wonder if he still feels the same way now?  What do you think?

GET IN THE GAME OR WATCH ME PLAY…

winners.JPG

We’d only known one another for a couple of hours, and already we were competing. For our first challenge, we were separated into two teams. Personally, I was happy that I was on the Blue Team. It seemed as if all of the people on the Red Team, excluding Marc, were a little over the top, while everyone on the Blue Team seemed more chilled. Wonder how long that will last?

tati.JPG blueteam.JPG

The obstacle course was a lot harder than it looked. A couple of cast mates probably still have bruises from that challenge. When the Blue Team won, we couldn’t stop rubbing it in the Red Team’s face. We were so happy, but it’s never good to gloat because it might come back and bite you in the butt … big time!

yaris_car.JPGToyota gave us three Yaris’ to use on our internship. No, we didn’t get to keep them at the end of the internship, but we had a great time running up the miles in somebody else’s car, lol. None of us had even heard of a Yaris before this internship. Now, if someone asks us “what’s a Yaris,” we’ll look at them like they’ve been stuck in a cage, ha ha.

kathy.JPGMarc, Kathy, Tationna and Jenna’s room was one of the hotspots in the house where a lot of talks took place. Kathy told us she was a lesbian in that room. I think some of the guys had a feeling, but the girls for the most part were surprised. Kathy told all the girls in the house that she wouldn’t talk to any of us like that. Honestly, I thought, “dang, why not, you don’t think we’re cute?” Lol. There’ll be more juicy conversations and sleepless nights that go on in that room so stay tuned….

kasheef_toilet.JPGThe guys had their little Guys’ Night Out, which ended with Kasheef sleeping half naked on the bathroom floor. Throughout the night, each of us went to check on Kasheef and tried to wake him up, but he was out cold. I felt bad and took the covers from the patio and covered him up, all the while I was thinking, “Dang, that must have been a hell of a party. Why didn’t I go?”

Kasheef won’t be the only drunken roommate this season. Can you guess which cast mate is next?

YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION

ivy1.JPG

marc_jenna.JPGSo here’s the scoop on the first episode.  Marc and Jena look like they’re really hitting it off.  They have a lot in common; both of them are cute, tall and played basketball.  But then again, they have strong differences. Jenna is really outspoken, loud and demanding, while Marc is quiet, laid back and chilled.  That might be a recipe for destruction, but I’ll let you be the judge of that.

Off the bat, there seemed to be clicks forming.  Poor Spencer was deemed the “outcast” from day one, and nobody really knew what to make of Tia when she first walked in.  Little did anyone know Tia was running on 0 hours of sleep.  She was celebrating her birthday the night before and, from what I hear, her party was banging!  She really must have wanted to be at this internship to show up after a night like that … or does she?

spencer.JPG  letia.JPG

When Dr. Ian walked in the room, the reactions were genuine; we were really surprised.  We didn’t know we were going to have an adviser, let alone a celebrity adviser.  Another shocker was when Dr. Ian told us that there was going to be a mid-term evaluation and that some people might be going home.  We were all instant friends, but everyone’s guard was slowly starting to rise … not sure how long this friend thing will last, are you?

house.JPGThe house was hot, but I wish we had a pool, not that I would want to get my hair wet, but living with Kathy and Kasheef, a pool would have really made for some interesting moments in the house (wink, wink).

One thing we all had in common, though, was that we LOVE to PARTY!  We decided to go to the bowling ally because it was too early to hit the club, lol.  But leave it to Chicago to have a club that’s on and poppin’ on a Monday night.  Maurice was the dancer of the house; he taught all of us how to do the Bay and the Souljah Boy.  I wanted to try out some dance moves on Kasheef, but I thought it was too early to get him sprung off my dancing abilities, lol.  Apparently Jenna and Marc weren’t at all as shy as I…

If all this went down on the first day; you can only imagine what’s to come after things really start to jump off.
