What it is? One time for all my BET College Hill fans!!!! It’s ya’ girl Fallon from College Hill Season 4 Virgin Islands (the best cast College Hill has ever seen….lol). I’m coming at you with the recap from the latest episode of the newest and hottest season, College Hill South Beach.
Well to start off, all I can say is
WOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The drama in this house is enough to make viewers at home start pulling out their weaves. The episode started with a recap of last week’s incident where Kay (Kathryn) ate, stabbed, and disposed of Kyle’s succulent, juicy ribs.
The motive behind Kay eating the ribs was simple–take some of the shade you give out. In every drama-filled moment of College Hill there is always someone who is responsible for making the drama occur.
What’s funny is that it’s never the people that are directly involved with the drama. The term is called INSTIGATOR, people and like I said, every College Hill Season has had one. In my particular season, all my castmates would agree that Andres would probably get that title. He would stir up drama by telling someone what someone else said and when the people confronted each other, he said nothing and watched from the sidelines as the drama sparked. From my view, it seems like this INSTIGATOR would have been Paul. Was it truly necessary that anyone spoke up about who actually ate the ribs? Especially knowing the temperament of Kyle or better yet, Keisha Fierce! The best policy would have been for everybody to play stupid for the sanity and peace of the house. However, this issssss College Hill we’re talking about and sanity and peace don’t even fit in the same sentence.
So once Paul spilled the beans about the culprit, Kay aka Sticky Fingers, a light switched on for Kyle that everyone knew wouldn’t be turned off until he released his anger on Kay. So as the day went on, every castmate sat on the edge of their seats waiting for Kay to walk through the door so the BIG SHOW could start. To welcome Kay home, Kyle set up what seemed to be a bum’s idea of a romantic picnic with a spread of trash can ribs, a half drunken beer, and a bootleg umbrella.
As Kay walked through the door you could almost see the horns rising out of Kyle’s head! The confrontation happened immediately upon her arrival and once the letter written by Allison to Kay about the rib incident was read aloud, as the old folks would say, the grits hit the fan! Keisha was in the building and stormed up to Kay ready for battle, demanding the cash out for his ribs. Much to her lady standards Kay smirked and agreed to go upstairs to reimburse Kyle. However, that wasn’t good enough for the College Hill Diva. He wanted that confrontation and Kay simply wouldn’t give it to him. No matter how much or how loud he yelled or how many bitches she was called in the matter of one minute, she kept her cool. Even as the altercation lead to Kay’s closet, where I’m sure Kyle was ready to cause havoc, Kay remained intact while still attempting to get her point across.
Now this is the part that pisses me off. I HATTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEE people who just stand around like spectators while drama is popping off. If no one besides Kay and Kyle had anything to say, everyone else should have returned to their respective spaces. It’s just human nature to want to see drama, I guess. Even in my season when the argument between the Cali and V.I. kids took place prior to Vanessa and Krystal’s fight, I stood there for about 2 minutes before walking outside. If people aren’t going to start putting people’s face in the dirt, why stand around and look at them go hard as if something’s really about to pop off? On the other hand, I could understand the need for at least one person to be there to prevent Kyle from going totally overboard and putting his hands on Kay who is in fact, a woman.
All in all just to retrospect the situation, it’s so evident through obvious personal experience of doing the show and viewing past and present seasons, the drama that goes on between castmates 95% of the time has NOTHING to do with what’s being argued about. Example, our season…Krystal, JT, and I had this HUGE argument over some damn ground beef!!!!! Ground beef, people. Once Krystal and JT began to argue further, the spiteful comments made from both of them had nothing to do with the beef. Krystal may have had issues with things being taken from her and a personal experience might have sparked her upset reaction.
The verbal ass whooping that Kyle gave Kay, which was so obviously pointed out by Milan, was not about her stealing his ribs—Kyle has issues. What those issues are no one knows yet, but it’s evident that they need to be addressed before his anger seriously compromises his or someone else’s safety. Next episode the whole house will be going through family therapy together so maybe a revelation will happen as to why Kyle is so hostile. Definitely no shade to Kyle because I think he is the funniest College Hill cast member ever!!!! I just hope his temper can stay in check so at least for the second half of the experience the Season 6 house can bond and enjoy the College Hill life!!!

OMG!!!! While I do agree that Tiffany, Chris, and Kyle are very childish and 100% wrong. Paul is REMORSEFUL for his part (like any decent human-being who has made a mistake), Paul also attempted to hold Kyle back and expressed his feelings about Kyle being in Kay’s face. I find Paul to be the most tolerable (besides Allison and Kay) in the house. Give him a break!
Im sooo glad kay stood up to kyle ugly azz! Kyle needs some serious help.
Why should we give Paul a break?
He SHOULD feel remorse..he’s the one who told Kyle in the first place, he should have never snitched on Kay considering that he was feeling her on the RV. You don’t snitch on a female. esp a female that you’re trying to get with.
If i had to choose, I think I would sacrifice my tight close bond with Kyle to get closer to Kay …but hey thats just me. Other may choose to be loyal to Kyle
@ tnP2008. “We” should give Paul a break because he actually felt bad. I’m not saying that he was right for telling Kyle…he knew he was wrong and felt bad for his actions and struggled w/ that. I don’t know what he’ll do in the future, but so far, he seems like a decent person. Kyle, Chris, and Tiff do not even show a bit of empathy or remorse. Plus, they are egging Kyle on.
Kyle needs to get kicked off the show… He got some issues that he needs to get straight. Please go get some help
Staight up all the guys in the house is some punk A$$. How you going to call youself a man and let a man disrespect a female in front of you. Im a guy i would not think dat was funny or even stand there and let it go on. the first time i would pull kyle off to the side and talk man to man and tell him that sh## aint cool. In the RV i would have told him staight up he dont need to be goin at K like dat. he aint even kno dat gurl. wen he got mad bout them ribs and was sayn he was goin to hit her me and him would have had a big problem. wen he ran up on K like he was goin to hit her I would have knocked his a$$ out. ima layed back dude and normally dont say sh%% to people bout what they do but wen it come to a man disrespect a woman i flip the F**K out. I see it as WOMEN ARE GOD GIFT TO MAN. there aint no dam way i Call MYSELF A MAN AND SIT ROUND HAVEN A GO OLE TIME WHILE A MAN DISRESPECT A FEMALE. All the girls on here talk bout how they like the guys in the house. Them aint no men in the house you see how they let kyle disrespect the women in the house, THAT SHOW HOW MUCH THEY RESPECT WOMEN. If i was friends withs guys in the house and saw how they stand around and didnt say nothing i would have told them how that sh@@ aint cool. I HOPE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT THINK THIS.
I have to agree with comments already left. This season is so whack and I think it shows a bad rap for HBCU’s and African American students. The cast that you have this season is horrible to me. The last episode has ended it for me. Why in the HELL is someone eating some ribs so bad? Then after it all, you want to continue to fight…it’s ridiculous. Kyle is extra, and the others in the house are rude for not stepping up and saying something. BET, you can do so much better. College Hill has had fights and controversy, but this has gone too far! Instead of showing all this nonsense, show something productive.
WOW!!! First of all Kyle took the rib thing 2 far. Kyle can dish it but he can’t take it. Kyle was on Kays case from the get go. Kay paid him for his ribs cause she was wronge for touching his food cause black people can get crazy about there food, that should have been the end cause she was better then me by putting it in the microwave. I would have let him touch my stuff then called the police cause he was wronge. Kyle thought it was cute 2 show off like he did but all it really did was make him look really stupid. I like the way Kay handle it.

This show is such an embarrassment. Why do we insist on embarrassing ourselves? BET, you are going to have to get it together. This is 2009. There are a lot of African Americans in college these days that would make a better role model for young teens today. There are already too many negative stereotypes in the media. One would think that BET of all places would not be the environment that encourages these negative images of us!

I’m glad to see that the housemates are all getting along and trying to bury the hatchet. Good to see some positivity & people working it out. It shows that we as a people can turn a negative into a positive no matter how disfunctional we are. The naysayers and haters will still have shyt to bytch about but it’s still good to see a change.
kyle was totally out of line and made himself look like a TOTAL FLAMBOYANT fool….kay handled the situation with class and dignity i am so glad that she didnt step to his stupid level…BUTTTTT if that was me i woulda took his money and put it in the microwave for 3 minutes…with some sauce…and told him TO EAT THAT!!! what a fool…

this season of college hill is nonsense… I really wish there was some way they could bring back College hill Atlanta and VA in one house or atleast a few cast members from each like VA- Audrina,Arlando,Deirdra,Ray,Rodney ATL- Drew , Anthony, Dennis, both Ashleys,Dorien, and Shavon. I bet that would be the most watched show. It’s wishful thinking because I’m sure B.E.T. isn’t that smart to do that. That would be the hottest show.
