Episode Seven – Album Release
December 17th, 2008 What is good everyone? This past Tuesday brought us another riveting episode of Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is. The show started off with Keyshia in L.A. putting the finishing touches on her third solo release, “A Different Me”. She is visited by her doctor who advises her that her tonsils will have to come out. The doc was all up in Keyshia’s mouth for that diagnosis. Ha! I wish I was the attendee that day!
Back down in Atlanta Neffe hits the promotion block to promote her book. She is on V-103 the hot station in Atlanta–so I’m told. We get to meet her new man…Soullow! Who is this dude and where did he come from? When being pressed by the radio jock about their relationship ol’ Soullow did the whole she’s a good woman routine, blah…blah…blah. That dude won’t be around long.
Neffe is asked to go the Aniz Foundation and talk to young girls who have been abused and or have been infected with HIV/AIDS. She decides to bring her oldest daughter Brianna so that she can learn. Neffe tells the girls her story and reminds them to all speak up if something bad happens to them and most importantly protect themselves. Neffe, I think has a future in being a motivation speaker. Shout-out to Neffe for instilling some change and direction into those girls lifes.
Back in L.A. Keyshia and the Ron Fair work on the last pieces of her album. They all sit around and talk about what should be the lead single or set-up song. Keyshia wants the uptempo Polow Da Don track and Ron wants to go with the Tupac featured track “Playa Cardz Right”. Ron wins! The night comes for everyone to hear the album and it is a star-studded listening party. Jamie Foxx, Monica, Kwame and Frankie are in the house! The tracks that we got a sample to hear were tight and Keyshia sounds better than ever. Frankie and Ron Fair got her dance on if that is what you want to call it. Keyshia seems happy with the album and it showed with her big smile at the end of the episode! “A Different Me” is in stores now so go out and support your girl Keyshia!
Well that is that for the latest episode on Keyshia Cole! Make sure to watch again on Tuesday night at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Until then this is Stretch’s Unofficial Guide to Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is Season 3!

Wuz up Keyshia? I am a huge fan of yours. I tivo all the episodes. I love the fact that the show is REAL…ain’t nuthin fake about it. And mama FRANKIE…luv her, but I do think that there are some things that she may be still holding on to that she needs to just “let go and let God”. And Neffie has come a long way. I like that you all can take what you’ve been through and share it with others because there are so many people that are going through some of the same things that you’ve all experienced if not worse. Keyshia you are my motivation fo real! Where you come from just lets us all know that anything is possible. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Keisha,
I hope Keisha read her blogs. I missed some of the shows and would like to know when you found out you was adopted. It seems like you feel you’re missing something from your life. I can’t understand, because I am not adopted. I don’t know if the show went into your true feelings about Frankie not being in your life. Are you looking for Frankie to be a mother figure to you at your age? As a child parents are there to nurture and love their child. When the child becomes an adult there is a different relationship with your parents. I know you want your biological mother and siblings in your life. I hope that it all work out for you and your additional family. I would like to know how the Coles really feel about your show. Mrs. Cole seems to genuinely want this to work out for you, because she really loves you. This is a true parent. What is the definition of a parent (Mother/Father)?
I don’t know if you are aware that the show list the Cole’s as your foster parents. If there’s another season of The Keisha Cole Show, you should make sure the Cole’s are listed as your “Adoptive Parents”. They are not your foster parents, the Coles adopted you this means the Coles are your parents. They raised you as their daughter. I just hope you remember that they were there with you from the beginning when you didn’t have any money or success.
Keyshia & Neffie
I just wanted to comment on how much i enjoy your show and the fact that you and your family just putting your lives out there for everyone to see. I enjoy seeing a family that has a real, and relevant relationship with God showing that while we can reach our dreams everything is not perfect, but as long as we keep God in our business he will KEEP US. For he is the Most High in your lives and you know where your strength and blessing come from.

Hey , girl luv yur show, I keep gettin calls from friends sayin that yur mom(Frankie)actsexactly like my mother (Ruby) I mean they are exactly alike seems like they are long lost sisters. Anyway keep up the good work and make sure u tell Frankie to keep up the good work, and take it one day at time.
Hey girl I luuuuuv ur show and I luv u. I think u have grown on me. I don’t listen to R & B but i love to watch ur show. i really wasn’t feeling the show at first, cause i was tired of reality shows. The rich is just getting richer and it was just another show to show cast what they have. However, ur show was a kick in the face. It has a meaning and I adore ur love for ur family. I’m not really close with my family and I desire for that to change. Watching ur show sometimes is disturbing because i dont really see u enjoying ur life, its always about ur family and what u can do for them. I think it has turned into the the frankie and neffi show. they need to get a grip. I love u and ur kindness( not to mention ur fabulous). be blessed and keep striving for excellence.
