Lens On Talent: Renee Elise Goldsberry
Published by Marcus Vanderberg on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 5:14 pm.Valentine’s Day might be three months away, but there’s never a bad time to talk about love.
Actress Renee Elise Goldsberry joined “Lens On Talent” host Kim Fields to discuss the topic of love.
Goldsberry is probably best known for her role as Evangeline Williamson on the ABC soap “One Life To Live” from 2003-2007.
Soap operas are known for their constant love stories, which is what Goldsberry loves.
That’s what I love about what I do,” Goldsberry said. “That’s the beauty of acting. The opportunity to fall in love a million times. I hope it can last forever as we don’t see enough love stories with older and older women. It’s the best thing in the world to just let people vicariously fall in love again. That’s what I love about movies or any kind of story.”
The featured films were “Online” by Keith Purvis and “Unspoken” by Rocky McKoy. “Online” is about the classic tale of boy meets girl gets a futuristic upgrade by taking the guesswork out and “Unspoken” is a short that delves into the mind of what many men, especially black men go through in relationships when it comes to communication.
