Actor and author, Hill Harper, stopped by the set of “The Mo’Nique Show” last week. Harper said you’ll have to tune in weeknights at 11 PM/10C, starting Oct. 5, to see his special appearance on the show. However, he did allow us to give you this little preview of what to expect from the new Queen of Late Night.

BET.com: How is Mo’Nique’s show different from other shows you’ve been on?

Hill Harper: Absolutely, her show is amazing, uniquely wonderful. The best talk show I’ve ever been on so far. What makes it so great is that it’s funny, energized, elegant and also full of heart, spirit and soul … with some God in there, too, some divinity. It’s the only talk show I know that combines all of those things. I’m so proud. It’s one of the most beautiful sets I’ve seen for the show. It’s the only show I’ve ever seen with both a DJ and a band. Rodney Perry is great, and the people who are behind the scenes bring the same spirit. I told her her show is an anointed show.

BET.com: Give us a funny story or memorable moment from your visit to the show.

Hill Harper: When I was on the show, I came to set, and they opened the doors and there was this railing and walkway. I jumped over the railing, but I’m not sure the camera people were ready for that. I guarantee that I’m the only person who’s done that on the show.
