While giving BET’s Hip-Hop Awards ’09 a big shout out, Ms. Wendy Williams counts the reasons why she loves this year’s Lifetime Achievement “I AM HIP-HOP” award recipient, ICE CUBE.
1.) “I love that he is hip-hop.”
2.) “I love that he has been married for 20 years.”
3.) “I love that he has kids.”
4.) “I love you, Ice Cube.”
Wendy said Cube was a “friend to the show,” supported her during her six-week sneak peek and was also a regular guest during her radio days. Wendy and Ice Cube go back 20 years.
Wendy gave props to Mike Epps for a great hosting job. Missy received a shout out for her award and Soulja Boy is one of Wendy’s favs. “You’re big in my house,” she said.
