Ok, so how do i start this off? If you’re here then you’re up on The Deal. Which also means that you’re a lover and respector (i made that word up) of this here culture we call Hip Hop. So, with that being said, i welcome you and yours to The Deal.
Everyone is calling this the Rap City replacement but i want to clarify that. The Dealis a brand new hip hop lifestyle show and the only national one i must add. Everything about the show is fresh and new. We did jack a couple ideas from our cuzzo show Rap City, but its all love! The Booth is a staple of hip hop culture and also a staple of BET. So we had to keep that going cuz there’s a new generation of cats coming up that deserve for us to showcase them in that way. We also are bringin’ the art of the written rhymes with our Spit Ya Game segment! That had to come over also.
As of everything else on the show, it’s all fr-fr-fresh yall. New ish! So dont miss what we got cookin’. We plan on making 2009 a rebirth of this culture we love and cherish. And this go round, let’s make a commitment to learn, preserve and support our culture of Hip Hop. It’s yours and mines so let’s hold it down cuz it needs us.
