Listen Up!: Greg O’Quin & iPraize

Sup folks! So I know it’s been a minute. Y’all pray for me! Ha! It’s all gonna come back together REAL SOON. (I know, y’all are like “if he says that one more time!)
But anyway, remember the song “I Told The Storm?” It was a big song in the gospel community in the late 90’s and we were all jamming to it. *Whoosh* was allllll over it. The group at the time was called Greg O’Quin and Joyful Noyze. Then, all of a sudden they just disappeared. Poof, just gone. (Am sure somebody will get on here and try and tell me they been rocking all this time in some town where they’re still stars, but you know what I mean!)

U R so wrong, Greg O’ Quin is famous for one of gospel music’s greatest songs ever made, ” LEAD ME JESUS “. It was some other guy who won the Sunday Best taletnt contest.
I had to download the new single online off itunes. Stores said they won’t have them until next week, but I heard it was in stores June 30th. It’s already July!!!

I just spoke to Greg O’ Quin on the phone and he sung ” Lead Me Jesus ” while I drove to work this morning. Yes! it was him 4 real!!!
I told him that I’m going to have everyone I know buy 10 copies of his new album ” After The Storm “, but you probably can’t buy more then 1 or 2 copies because most stores are already sold out!
“I was playing the Luana Hills Country Club in Oahu on a gorgeous sunny day over Memorial vacation, and hooked my tee shot into a huge area of low green leafy plants. Normally, I wouldn’t have even bothered going in to look for it, as you couldn’t seen the ground beneath the leaves. I had just listened to Greg o’ Quin & iPraize ” Lead Me Jesus ” on the radio and I couldn’t stop singing it. Out of nowhere 2 golfers were approaching on the opposite fairway and inquired what I was singing as I waded through this impossibly large patch of plants while waving my club. I told them to watch and they were dumbfounded as I located my errant tee shot. They asked where to get a copy of the song and I gave them the same information I give everyone who hears it….PENDULUMRECORDS.BIZ!!! Incidentally, I have similar stories from virtually every course I play from Loomis, to Las Vegas!”
