August 27th, 2009

You didn’t think we were done did you?  Sunday Best Winner Y’Anna Crawley’s been banging it out in the studio but she had to take some time away to do some performances in different parts of the country. Sup folks! Sunday Best Season 2 may be over, but our winner Y’Anna Crawley is just getting started.  Many of you ask me, “When is the CD dropping” or “what sound is she going for?, etc.” Well, I wanted to know too, so I did some digging and got some info and even a few photos from Y’Anna Crawley’s first studio sessions.  So yes, she’s working on her album RIGHT NOW (literally as I was typing this post!) Sup folks. Busy week? Sure it is! This past Sunday Best season proved that not only were a bunch of you gospel fans, but artists in your own right.  Knowing that, I do my best to not only bring you info on music and artists, but the gospel industry as a whole.

So with that said, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Bishop Albert Jamison, the Chairman of the Gospel Music Workshop Of America (GMWA). Read the rest of this entry »
