We, as Black citizens in the USA, need to take a long, critical look at ourselves. and disavow the diseased, craven culture of the last 30 years we have ignorantly infested the entire USA. The music and entertainment industry BET publicly celebrated Sunday, July 1, epitomizes the misogynistic, self-loathing messages we have spewed into our communities. A solid primary education and increasing rates of secondary education were working to improve the Black communities’ overall economic and social health. Now, many of the gains we have worked so very hard for since legal slavery was outlawed are dissipated. I have almost lost all hope for my people. And in the larger scheme of the USA, there is no such thing as an American. This country has always been tilted toward economic and political dominance for the few – ForeverEverythingWorldwide.
Yes, easy guess – I’m 58 and loving my age. And I love music. But that show, shame on us.

When are you going to put the full BET Awards 12 show online? I don’t even own a TV – too much hype and stereotyping that I have to pay for.
However, I need to see what my people are doing and the internet is my way of keeping up.

how is counting the ballots hell who is voting on this absurdity. give me a break. This is just as bad as chris brown in takers which you would have gotten a better performance out of Wood harris and TI OHHH GOD Derek Luke could have did that in his sleep.
