Rajan Says….

Check out Rajan Sedalia latest editorial cartoon for BET.com. The illustration above is his take on the latest “Meet the Faith” episode that tackles the many issues facing Black athletes today. Rajan said, “Sports is one arena where everyone is judged on their abilities, not their
affiliations. Yet if you look at how behavior is perceived between the
sports, it’s inconsistent. A baseball brawl or hockey fight never seems to
create as much outrage as basketball fights. Trash talking and end zone
celebrating is found offensive, while baseball beaning is “part of the
game.”

This week on “Meet the Faith,” host Dr. Ian Smith chatted with New York Times columnist William C. Rhoden, Roxanne Jones vice president of ESPN The Magazine and New York Giants All-Pro defensive end Michael Strahan. What do you think of the state of Black athletes?
