INSIDE: STA 2010 GIFTING SUITE// Sweet Poppins Adds A Little Flavor to Soul Train 2010

Look out Orville Redenbacher! Indiana-based business woman Tashia Johnson-St. Clair, owner of Sweet Poppin’s, is well on her way to taking over the snack-loving hearts of the masses…one flavored kernal at a time. In 2003, the one-time housewife (pictured left) had a dream of making flavored popcorn from start to finish. Equipped with a divine vision—not to mention a little pralines and cream—she tested it out. After several attempts, she finally locked down what would become the blueprint of her business. After overwhelming responses from church members and her husband’s co-workers, Johnson-St. Clair officially created Sweet Poppin’s a year later.
Fast forward to 2010, and she is still on top of her game. She now produces over 30 popcorn flavors (lemon poundcake, cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberry) and new flavor combinations are being created every month. ($4/bag, available online at SweetPoppins.com)
ED NOTE: This popcorn was by far one of the highlights inside the gifting suite, so much so, I had to snag two bags. (shhh don’t tell Tashia).
