The newly signed Roc Nation artist is going to get a lot of new fans when this album drops on November 16th. She has left the dark and depressing music of last year’s Rated R behind and has put together an entire album of feel good records. Whether or not you co-sign her vocal prowess, the spirit of the tracks is so ‘loud’ that you have to listen. With infectious techno-pop beats on “S&M,” and her lead single “Only Girl” (that has thus far peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100)—fans and skeptics alike will be up dancing.
Thankfully for variety sake, It’s not a party the entire album. The inclusion of a couple of ladies anthems—a no brainer as a result of the success of 2007’s “Take A Bow”—prove successful. “What’s My Name” and “Raining Men” featuring Young Money artists Drake and Nicki Minaj respectively.
It’s evident that her ability to control her voice has developed beautifully on ballads like “California King Bed,” “Fading,” and “Complicated.” As huge bonus RiRi offers a part two for Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie” —on which she sang the track.
This album has truly declared that she is going to be around for a while. Check out snippets of her 11-track LP below.
1. “S&M”
2. “What’s My Name?” feat. Drake
3. “Cheers (Drink to That)”
4. “Fading”
5. “Only Girl (In the World)”
6. “California King Bed”
7. “Man Down”
8. “Raining Men” feat. Nicki Minaj
9. “Complicated”
10. “Skin”
11. “Love the Way You Lie (Part II)” feat. Eminem

The 2010 Soul Train Awards ‘Best Dance Performance’ nominee is capitalizing off the success of her #1 Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Love the Way You Lie,” with Eminem by giving us a part II. In this new version she takes the lead, the hook remains that same, and then Eminem ends with 16 bars eluding to the fact that Rihanna was not simply the victim but an abuser as well. Riri talked to MTV’s Sway about the original versus part II.
