Soul Train Awards 2010 proved to be a magical night. From the Legendary tributes to both Anita Baker and Ron Isley to Doug E. Fresh teaching CNN’s Wolf Blitzer how to Dougie, the show was jam packed full of suprises and amazing performances.

If you were lucky enough to attend the show’s taping in Atlanta, you probably were wondering what happened to some of the greatest moments…including performances from Tank, Eric Benet and Gyptian. SOUL TRACK// TANK “Know About Me”

Known for his arsenal of slow jams—”Maybe I Deserve”, “Please Don’t Go” and his latest hit “Sex Music”—it seems like we have never gotten an upbeat offering from Tank. But it looks like that has all changed. The singer/songwriter/producer, who will be hitting the Soul Train Awards 2010 stage, has released “Know About Me,” a two step inciting track produced by the Hit Boys. No word if the tune is off his upcoming forth album, Now or Never—out December 14th. Check out the new track and SOUND OFF below.

BEHIND THE GROOVE// 2010 Soul Train Awards Full Nominations List and Performers

If giving birth to a baby boy wasn’t enough, Alicia Keys is leading the Soul train Awards nominations pack—alongside Usher—with four nods. Rapper/Singer Drake follows behind closely with three nominations.

Grammy-award winning R&B superstar R. Kelly will open the show with a dynamite performance, followed by today’s hottest artists Ne-Yo, Cee-lo, Keyshia Cole, Rick Ross, Erykah Badu, Eric Benet, Chrisette Michele, Lalah Hathaway, Faith Evans, Janelle Monae, Gyptian, Freddie Jackson, Jeffrey Osborne, Rachelle Ferrell, Tamia, and Tank who will light up the stage with performances and never-before seen collaborations to honor the best in Soul Train and this year’s Legend Award recipients Anita Baker and Ron Isley.

This year’s Soul Train Awards will be hosted by Oscar-nominated actors Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson—who hosted last years event—and will simulcast on CENTRIC and BET on Sunday, November 28 at 9:00 PM EST.
